    Hey let's get back to the THE REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF. The blue hairs (FF) are trying to steal our sunset load!! Now I know MOST of us old RW folks don't like to fight......so let's show them "the love" and bring your small guns.....we don't want to kill the little buggers, just hurt'em a little and keep them away from the plane at sunset.

Naaa, you got it all wrong, it's not because we are arrogant, it's because we have the best jump planes, and the lowest jump rates on average in the world and it just naturally pisses people off.

    In Kerry's speach he mention that he was going to cut the taxes on the middle class, and raise the taxes on the top 2% of earners making over $200,000 per year. Sounds good. Stick it to the over paid people, there's less of them (read less votes) and a lot who make a LOT less than that. (more votes) Problem is, I'm not sure the math works. I don't believe that Kerry can raise the taxes high enough on the top income earners (+200,000) to make up the difference of a large cut to the middle class. While I don't believe we will ever see a flat tax rate, our tax code is written on the basic belief that if you make more you should pay more - and for the MOST part it works that way. So my questions for you Kerry supporters do you really think that Kerry can raise the tax rate on the top income earners, high enough to give the middle class a big break?

I can easily turn off my radio or change channels should I feel that the music or the speaker is disturbing me. When I pay to sit and listen I can be somewhat "held hostage" to the musician - to the point where I am willing to walk out. If I did walk out I would not ask for my money back because I believe that the musician has a right to speak, in turn I have a right to leave and no longer purchase there product. It's all pretty simple

    I tell them that the skill level on this next jump is a little above them, but I'd love to go do a good two way after I do this jump. (Which is all a lie because I suck anyway!) The hardest answer I ever got was a straight faced "No" with nothing else added. This was after I had purchased (at a very inflated price I found out later) the gear from one of the three guys trying to find someone to jump with!

    Bill, Certainly your not saying that our failures place us at the same level as SH? "Saddam Hussein was an evil guy; it would be a good idea to not try to emulate him." I don't believe that the facts show us "emulating him" we have made some BAD mistakes, and it is to easy for us to say "sorry" that was a mistake but we have not intentional kill inocent people - he did. Did we know it would happen - yes but we tried to avoid it.

Does that answer your question?" Thanks for the interesting discussion. I understand the rights of the minority, believe that they are very important to our system. But when you damage a protected minority there are courses of action (In most case laws) but what protection from the minority does the majority have? When we discuss the "slippery slop" idea, when do we say this is the reverse (minority forceing there will in the majority?) How do you balance it? I don't know.

This issue doesn't bother me to much one way or another. But and I say BUT if the "vast majority" as the polls are suppose to show want to leave it in. Why would we need to take it out for the minority that feel threaten by it? To acknowledge a god, doesn't seem to be the same as the goverment promotioning one "god" Just thoughts.
