    Hey Dave After "reading" (I guess) the SOTU do you really believe that this speach wasn't what Bush thinks. Sure uses a teleprompter, I guess he "could" just speak off the cuff, but why? If you have to give a speach do you not practice it? Does he have help with the speach - sure. I can change the spark plugs in my car but if it's more than that I'll get some help. He's not talking to a local Rotary club. Bush has his problems but I just don't see one as him being a puppet for "handlers" Fortson

    Hey great idea Dave, don't listen to what HE says wait till afterwards and let someone else TELL you what he said. Pick the right channel and you can make sure and have the "spin" on it that suits your pre determind idea.

    Well I had college professor's who were great, top notch. I also had some who were worthless. The fact that ALL of the other college professors you seem to know work the extended hours that you work makes me believe that you have a very, very small group of friends (professors) or that your statement is more defensive than fact. Besides 70 hrs is "only" 14 hr days, five days a week. Get to work earlier, stay later and you'll be able to jump like the rest of us.

    Me and a buddy are coming from the East coast for both events....anybody got plans for the Mon-Wed between the events? We are looking at surfing (two Ga. boys on surf boards, we can probably sell tickets!) Any thoughts on things to do? Fortson P.S. - I know we could stay and jump but seems like a waste to not try some other options while out in Ca.

    Any news about the Georgia record attempt, i.e. what days, how many jumps, how much money.... I have faithfully checked the roamingdz.com page like a good boy.....

    This is different because it wasn't specfic jumping instructions but rather the thought process that many people go through in this sport. A friend told me: "At around a 100 jumps most skydivers think that know it all, the good ones at 500 jumps realize they don't have a clue" note: Change the numbers to fit yourself, now 1,200 jumps later I'm still learning and still keeping a sharp eye out for people that "know it all" Thanks to Bill "Mr Bill" Lesman Great thread btw.

    Has anyone stayed at the IHOP since the wind tunnel has been in place and running? I've stayed there several times and it was plenty clean for me, the snoring can be a problem....and the bathrooms while always clean sometimes had a waiting line. Other than my worries about the noise of the wind tunnel I'd stay there in a second!

    Well sure we are. But if you own the company and you found out that an employee was posting 10-15 times and was reading post for an hour a day everyday for two months.....would you can them? We don't have a policy in writting, I own the company and I'm thinking of firing myself

    Hey First off THIS SUCKS, ITS WRONG, I'M SORRY IT HAPPEN. and I don't know what PK did/does for a living, or what he did (or didn't do) to get fired. But Where should a company draw the line on posting while at work? There a lot of people who post a WHOLE lot during the day. I KNOW a lot aren't at work, but a lot are. Again, I am sorry this happened, I AM not saying it's okay. The person that did it sucks. Just a question

    Well he's is public, yours isn't. It seems that you have set yourself up as judge and jury. "He" could give more but "I" gave all that I could. Are you sure you gave the "right" amount?

    Tip one: Don't watch Fox news if you don't want to see the "right" slams the UN....it's a show for the far right. Watch Dan Rather it will make you feel better, and he spends as much time as possible bashing Bush's foreign policy. Of course in the near future he won't be spending as much time doing this.

    Question: I've lurked here for awhile, post from time to time but I really do want to understand this "banning" stuff. So in basic: If you attack some one who is a MEMBER than a greenie can BAN you for a) A period of time depending how BAD the attack is. b) Forever How about if I attack Kallend now?? he's kinda in limbo right?? I've tried to get him in the past but he's to damn smart for me. (hell he's been in school his entire life...I just went to the eighth grade) Having read what was said, it seems as if the prof has done a lot worse in the past. FREE KALLAND
