    In British Columbia the cop would not yell at you; he would just give you the ticket. So there are bicycle helmet laws in (at least parts of) Australia, N.Z. and Canada. What else do these places have in common unlike the US? Oh that's right, the taxpayer is on the hook for putting you back together. Socialism, how do you like it so far?

    Go to any county fair. There parents willingly let their kids on the tilt-a-whirl et al that was assembled by people ripped on crystal meth. Should the state be rounding up these kids for their own good?

    Is this governmental or just your national association? Does it apply to foreigners? i.e. if I come to visit am I expected to get a repack for my weekend at your DZ followed by another repack the next weekend in Germany?

    In the province of Alberta we have exclusively Cessnas (206 &182) across 4 DZs (soon to be 5). It is still a close call as to whether more jumps are made out these planes or out of Twin Otters. The Kapowson Otter is in Kamloops for the 24th of May weekend, and provincial championships somewhere in the province on July 1st. Many Albertans also go to the two boogies in the Vancouver area that use the KPOW Otter. Then there is Lost Prairie, The Canadian Invasion in Eloy, and various camps in Eloy and Paris. If you add up all the jumps Albertans make out of Otters over the year it would be close even though there is only an Otter in the province for one weekend a year.

    Detroit has fallen into Calgary's trap! They clearly overused their first powerplay unit in the first period and will be tired for the rest of the game. Hard to believe they fell for such an obvious ploy.

    Truthfully I don't think they're that good a team,...except Roberto. Dallas smothered them well last game. Now we will see what kind of coach Vigneault is. They will have to change their offensive zone strategy a bit. Luongo will steal at least two more games this series.

    Are you saying your national association (government) accepts the workmanship of a US TSO'd factory but not the rigging done in that factory? That is nothing short of a protectionist tax on you by your local rigger's guild. They suck!

    While many people debate whether they could vote for an atheist, Jew, fundamentalist Christian, etc. I have grave concerns about granting leadership to those who lack common sense. Wearing your seatbelt, quitting smoking, and avoiding the company of organized criminals are prerequisites in my book. I wish him a speedy recovery; he sounds pretty messed up.

    The cost to all of us of the lack of security on the internet is huge. There is, however, no guarantee that a re-do will provide security that is any less fleeting than a microsoft patch. What we can be assured of is that everyday users with their mobile devices will leave a documented trail of their minute to minute whereabouts for the big brother industry as well as marketers to follow

    I think you are mixing up TI candidate prereqs with TE prereqs. I did not have to get recomendations from existing TMs when I got my rating, nor have I known anyone else to. That is, however, a prereq for the examiner course, as is the soft helmet.
