  1. My introduction to skydiving was a tandem to single jumpmaster program. I had problems breathing as the tandem passenger because 120mph cold air seemed to take my breath away. It sometimes still happens when I'm falling belly-to-earth on full altitude skydives. I seem to breathe easier as I get into warmer air or maybe I'm just relaxing. What helps is that I'm familiar with the feeling and it doesn't bother me as much. I suppose it's different for everyone. Don't let it keep you from jumping, unless of course you are actually blacking out during the skydive. The 'muffled hearing' is a completely different thing. There is plenty of information here and from your instructors on what happens to your inner ear as you plummet through the lower atmosphere.
  2. Speculation is buzzing here in Akron and it seems to be bigger news than the continuing NBA semi-finals! Lebron in Knicks jersey Lebron in Knicks jersey 2 Lebron in Bulls jersey
  3. I heard haircuts too. But I don't tan and I buzz my own dome so I'm good.
  4. Newsflash: The poor are eligible for medicaid
  5. Couples who are "poor" should improve their financial situation before they bring a child into the world.
  6. Fair enough, you win. I mistunderstood you. Can you point out to me how the Democratic president and Congress are distributing wealth "more evenly" to the workers at Mcdonalds or Walmart while their fat-cat CEOs are still making millions? And yes I agree with you that consumers vote with their dollar before political affiliation. In fact, there are many other reasons that infulence consumer decisions like ethics/company policies/
  7. That's news to me! What is Oprah's salary? What does Oprah's makeup artist make? What is Sean Penn's salary? What does his camera man make? So a business owner/manager will recalculate his payroll based on his political affiliation. That's awesome and it's new to me. Listen, you need to trade your vag for a set and head down to the Zimbabwe library. I want to work in fast food.. I need to find out if McDonalds or Wendy's is republican or democrat... you need an education.
  8. So, if I need to get my oil changed and I can choose between a service center owned by a democrat or a service center owned by a republican, who should I pick?

  13. Spare me, Obama is not an econmoist and neither was Bush. This summer when oil shoots through the flipping roof, your boy is gonna be up there shaking his fist and spewing about how we need to "reign in these greedy oil companies" and "make a gallon of gas affordable for the working family" It;s as if the world is one big game of monopoly and if you're up, Obama wants to punish you, if your down you get bailed out. ugh
  14. I was almost nominated but they got ahold of my posts on dz.com.. If I were on the supreme court I would argue that a law requiring you to buy something simply for being alive, is unconstitutional.
  15. Remember the damage the environmentalists did to downtown pittsburgh last summer? Then the massive republican protest happened in DC without a single arrest.
  16. Just out of curiosity, why couldn't you offer it before?
  17. Ummm in 2014 I am required by federal law to enroll in a private health insurance plan. This is absolutely unconstitutional.
  18. C'mon dude laymen's terms. I didn't go to college
  19. Very interesting. I sometimes view human life at a very macro level. A piece of cooling rock with a bunch of shit growing on it... mankind is currently the organism that is able to build the most infrastructure and profoundly effect the rest of the planet for better or worse. I've thought about this and you there is plenty of material/books and of course.. coast2coastAM ! If you told folks in 1950 what the world population was going to be in 2010 they would have freaked out and said that there would be mass starvation because food/agriculture would run dry. Yet somehow with a 4,274,612,380 increase (per US Census) the Human Being on average has access to technologies that the world 60 years ago only dreamed about. Wii, Cellular telephones for $50, 30mpg cars under $8000, Trans-Continental Jet flights for less than $1000, personal computers/robotics... the list goes on. At some point population is going to catch up with us, but analysis on when and how it will affect us is beyond me.
