Ok I just read the 1992 Defence Planning Guidance ? It talks about the US maintaing it's superpower status and addresses regions that have potential conflicts (Iraq and N Korea)
-
we have many small oil producing wells here in NEO. I'm not sure how much influence these small drilling companies have on the govmnt waging war in the middle east. Call me me dumb, uninformed, and simplistic but I believe that UN resolution 1441 gave more than enough reason to invade a nation thought to be harboring WMD's.

You mean Kuwait? and fucking with the UN inspectors? and torturing civilians? We should have left them alone and focused our efforts on Haiti

why stop there? $275/hr min wage! The pizza shop owners are RICH lol

Maybe it wasn't at all. Perhaps the 'political will' was leveraged to stop Iraq from potentially getting nuclear weapons. My .03

Bill Maher Disses Jon Stewart Sanity Rally:

I'm with you there. Many NKOB Rebublicans are hardly moderate :(. And I was unhappy with the last administrations's spending and social policies. And I was pretty much making the observation that the repubs voted in are not a bunch of 'old rich white men'. Instead it's a youthful mix of latinos, hispanics, african american, and some hot chicks. It could easily be the other way, there are plenty of college-aged bleeding hearts out there dying to send your paycheck to my neighbor and her kids. -

I'm unsure of your claim that republicans are rationalizing racism. Your 2nd point about the republican party being lost as the lowest common denominator? I see only young, bright, charismatic republicans at every turn. Folks like Paul Ryan, Tim Palenty, and African American republicans like Allen West, Mike Steele, and Tim Scott, not to mention the Latinos Marco Rubio, Sanchez, NM's Suzana Martinez. and sandovo among others. These are dynamic conservative leaders that believe in smaller government, less spending, personal repsonsibility, and fiscal policies that ensure that local state and federal government spends less than they take. As far as up and coming democrat leaders? Well we've got Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Jerry Brown. -
I'm amazed at some local businesses that are still thriving. For instance a place here in NEO is always advertising on the radio (which tells me they have capital). Their product line is quasi-luxury household recreation like pooltables//games/ arcade. Thankfully some people are still buying this stuff and creating/sustaining local jobs. I agree with you that businesses should not expect out-of-work people to buy their products.

So stay in New Zealand. -
I don't think that would change people's decisions. If eating a 900 calorie fastfood meal immediately expanded your waist line and gave you cancer, people would choose their meal differently.
-
I've always been torn on this one. I believe that govt should mostly stay out of all business, but I also realize there are communities and people that are uninformed about products they buy, whether by choice or ignorance. Market forces allow fast food to offer tasty meals for cheap but at a potentially huge cost down the road. If the effect of eating shitty was immediately apparant maybe the population would choose differently but it's not. It's like putting a bit of sand in your engine every time you get gas. At the same time I occasionally buy and eat stuff that my body rejects..because it tastes good lol. So what's the answer?

Wow this baby has stayed on track so far ... without drifting into a mudsling. Of course skyrider is not here yet

without ACORN low-income people will be unable to get a mortgage, manage their credit, establish neigborhood associations, or vote on min wage. Wait.. UNLESS they decide to.... get a mortgage, manage their credit, establish neigborhood associations, and vote on min wage. headoverheels, I know it's a lot to swallow but I happen to think that most low-income people have it inside themselves to upwardly mobilize their life and do better for themselves... without a nanny

So white people don't run, rob, deal, and abuse? I'll grab an issue of NEOhio's "Busted" magazine and prove you wrong.

AWESOME. Call me a bigot too. Is it just me or does everyone trying to blow up a subway, building, or airplane have a name that looks like someone drunk-typed the words kaleidoscope calendar.

You could take it a step further and choose to not patronize any business or group that contributes to the parties who use the money to purchase the ad space/air time. Did I just open a can of worms? -
Well, His statement should limit the spin after the election

rhys, do you listen to coast2coast AM ? You would absolutely love the show. They talk about NWO, elite, and potus as a puppet too. I'm surprised they haven't been shut down yet.. -
good point I guess.
-
Sucks that represents the right radio. I can't listen to much of rush/hannity/beck. Try tuning into michael medved. He's right but only takes opposing viewpoint phone calls. It's great radio debate
-
Ok then. Do you have a problem if there are more white males in positions of power?
-
Yes. Maybe it has something to do with this: US 2008 (from Wiki) white population 228.2 million black population 37.6 million
-
I really don't care. I've been called names in situations where I'm the minority and in addition to not being offended, It was my choice to be in that environment anyway.
-
Black people call themselves nigger in my neigborhood but I'm not allowed to because I'm white
