    no one in my family needs anything. a few years ago (before we started drawing names) i donated to the make-a-wish-foundation in the name of my brother and his wife and of my sis and her husband. they each got a MAW ornament and a gift card stating so. my dad/mom are very supportive of a church mission so i made a dontation to them in honour of my parents, same for my other brother.. a donation to a mission in el paso that he supports. not one of them was disappointed that the didn't receive a gift the didn't Need anyway. i also like to donate to the toybox and to pick a name from an "Angel" tree.. to help a little one believe there Really Is a Santa Claus ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

    Warm Christmas ((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) for all of you. This is my 3 Chritsmas alone. After MANY years of Family gatherings, Tons of gifts for the kids and even occasional snow leaving the Christmas Eve candle service...these past years have been tough. I have EVERYTHING to be happy about and thankful for...but Im still in a very low mood. Not for lack of Christmas music, I hear it all day at work... Not because I haven't finished my shopping, its all done and wrapped and I Will be spending Christmas Day with my daughters and their boyfriend and fiance, as well as my family.... but still it doesn't Feel like Christmas. Dove, get over that bug soon. The rest of you.. I hope your bah hum Bug goes away too and that all of you find some Christmas Joy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

    I marked good, but it was nothing short of Excellent! I paid off all my debt (with the entitlement from my divorce) I got my private pilot certificate in April after MONTHS and MONTHS of working on it. I was able to fly a LOT this summer, over 100 hours. Went to OshKosh (AirVenture) for a few days. (drove...maybe Next time I will fly there) I have had some great weekend trips. Some flying, some not. Met some Wonderful people. Took my first jump on 9/28. Hope to make #11 tomorrow. Yep, it has been a Super year for which I am So Thankful!     I can't honestly remember the last concert I saw..... I guess it was Elton John.... SOLO, about 3 or 4 years ago. REALLY good show. I was never much of an Elton fan, but I enjoyed that concert. I think my all time favorite was Van Halen in the Sammy Hagar days..... MANY years ago. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit
