2 hour 20 min drive. I ususally go on Sunday. This weekend Im going Saturday, spending the night and going to jump again on Sunday. If I fly it is only an hour to get there. Doesn't matter... it is worth the trip ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

If you don't want to add a drop down selection to search by DZ, could you add the DZ to the members directory page? then a state search would help narrow down searching for a specific DZ. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

Ray, There is nothing wrong with you not wanting to be with someone just for the sake of having someone. Do what is best for you and don't worry about what others say. I was married 25 years to a man I THOUGHT was it. After about 15 years it was over, but we had kids and TOO many people LOVED him...my friends my family, I lived in such guilt over not wanting to be with him and not loving him when everyone else thought he was perfect. I didn't want to go home to him, or wake up with him "IT" just wasn't there. Our divorce was final 9/3/02. I have had the most WONDERFUL year of my life. Met Tons of new friends, completed my private pilot rating and have logged over 100 hours since then flying to new places and meeting new people. I just took my first AFF jump on 9/28. Made 4 more jumps since then. Do I still believe there is someone out there for me?? Yes, but I don't intend to sit around and waste anymore of my life waiting for him. If it happens...so be it. Until then I intend to live for ME. I don't care that my friends want to "fix me up" I am happier now than I have been in my whole life. Sorry to ramble. Bottom line, Do what makes YOU happy. Awesome. My next jump is AFF 4. Not able to go until Nov 8th. Yes, Im already experiencing withdrawl sypmtoms. I was flying Saturday with no particular destination... you don't have to guess where I ended up... an hour away at my DZ. Sunday... I visited another DZ... closer to home.
