Deucey, The main fireplace in my parent's house, where I rent my apartment is one of those 2 story fieldstone fireplaces, yet no chicks come to see it. Muenkey Have you tried lighting it ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

Last year was pretty special. Divorced just 20 days before and trying to adjust to my new life and thinking my family was upset with me for leaving Mr Perfect.....I was pretty bummed out that evening. My doorbell rang and my mom, dad and Sis and her family and my daughters had all shown up on my doorstep for my first ever surprise party, complete with cake, snacks, balloons and flowers and gifts. This year was pretty good too. Took my cousin (also a pilot) flying to some lakes nearby.. great scenery... a sunset flight and dinner at a neat place that treats pilots like royality by taking them in the back door and seating them right away vs the minimum hour wait for non-pilots... Had my first skydive 5 days later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

I kinda know that feeling. I just ordered my own jumpsuit...couldn't deal with the Lime green student suit anymore... I MAY get to try it out before the DZ shuts down for winter... I woun't have the op to go to FL like you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ earthbound misfit

stupid cliche' but: when one door is closed...another will open. Hoping your new door will lead to great things. You don't have to Miss your friends. Just because you don't work there, doesn't mean you can't hang out together... don't lose touch. Glad you are "not going to be homeless". Wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care! I would be scared too. That you even Jumped is more than I think I could do from a small airplane. My 5 jumps have been from an Otter and as I told you, THAT is unnevering to me. Like you, once Im out the door, Im fine. In time, Im sure we will both be able to make rides up and our exits without all this anxiety.
