If it's nice, I'm sure people will be there, Stacy, however, lives in Florida now

if you were to go to a higher wing loading the front riser pressure will be noticeably less. ***Please note, I am not saying you should*** I fly a 1.85 and a 2.0 loading back to back and I can definately tell a difference, the higher wing loading will be less "heavy", seems counter intuitive, I know. the trick is also to spiral high if you're going to do that, cause spiral to the pattern and the riser pressure will be much higher (g forces and all that).

uh-huh when is monkey claw going to be in GA?
-
then you met my friend Cathy.... she was working dubbing Sunday.

This is true, my 120 has much higher riser pressure than the 111. I was told by the factory pilots optimal wing load is in the 2.0-2.1 range for riser pressure anyway. Also, make sure you're not spiralling down to the pattern, that will also make the riser pressure higher (i've found).

hey now, my first main was a 7 cell boat. so I know it wasn't me!

oh I'll be packin somethin allright.... but it definately won't be an iron, I can always borrow Joe's...
-
well, I guess the bigger problem is to minimize bags and not take toooooo many tee shirts
-
well, maybe after the competition, but during would not bode well for my performance!
-
clothes that is, here I sit with a pile of clothes trying to decide what to pack for nationals, (the rig, jumpsuit and helmet/gloves are a given)..... yuck.

an X-braced nose is closed more, and it might be a bit of an illusion as there is more of an opening on the bottom skin, which you might not be able to see. the idea behind it (IMO) was to get a more shaped nose (as in use fabric), and a more efficient airfoil.

I had most of mine at night in a bar....

yeah, what he said... not rotating the bag will create voids in the main tray area, not a big deal if the canopy is on the smaller size for the container, but it makes it lumpy. the new jav you dont' rotate...

I did the exact same thing you did, sort of. went from a sabre (old) to a safire 149, to a crossfire 139. I'm about 225 out the door. Crossfire handled much better than the safire, better openings, and much better landings. Not sure about the Xfire2.... and Im now jumping velocities
-
?? and that prevents you from getting off?
-
I disagree, if you jump in a desert climate, it is a good idea to wash periodically to remove all those nastly little sand particles that are in there grinding away on your webbing.
-
I hear ya, we're getting a nasty one in daytona right now....
-
you only get wet in there if it is windy outside, too, I've only gotten really wet once (ok twice, but the one time doesn't count because they shut it down).
-
FWIW, relative workshop did a study and found that repeated washing of containers weakened the main lift webbing. so whatever you do, dont' get it washed every re-pack cycle.

that's easy... Frost and Jetstream!
