Guys: What kind of perfume do you like on your woman?
weid14 replied to mouth's topic in The Bonfire
ummmm, doesn't really matter as long as she's only wearing perfume.... -
they (they as in whomever) have done that more than once IIRC.... something about a sunset tradition, fly up wihta buck, get a beer for the canopy ride
-
I'm thinking you can leave the "gents" part out anyway....
-
Which muppet(s) would you most like to skydive with ? .......
weid14 replied to TheBile's topic in The Bonfire
I actually had to go with the Swedish chef, partly because one of my former teammates was swedish and we used to tease him about it... -
did anything get off the ground?
-
it will be the same non-subjective data that you have now... you know that they have been in the field many years. Slinks were developed to be removable. I know people with 1000's of skydives on them, no issues. The only objective data you will ever get is the static testing. I would much rather have my slider pulled down behind my head, than it vibrating the snot out of the lines where they attach to the riser. THAT is where you'll get abrasive wear.
-
It matters a lot, you've got years of field data where riggers were making their own, out of the same material, the only difference is you had to cut them off, and with the Pd/PDf/precision design you can take them off.

soft links have been around a LOT longer than 5 years, shoot I had them on my system 5+ years ago.

In a litle bit the weather channel is having a segment on skydiving in "atmospheres" (east coast time). I think the segment was filmed in Illinois.

What are the requirements (jump numbers, licenses, etc) to jump it? The web page says jump tickets are $25. Seems so low. Dave where did you see that? I looked all over the place.

it always cracks me up when people from the "city" think west chester county is lilke the North Pole...
-
flatlanders, a little term of endearment we called folks coming up form the warmer parts of New Enland and the mid-atlantic
-
for all you flatlanders.... Upstate doesn't start until North of I-90
-
yes, I especially miss the ice storms and the -40 temps....

true, but for instance block 16, Airspeed puts memeory in teh back piece, so it spins differently then if you put the memory in the front piece... and exit 10 for example, it is much easier to float the diamond out then the way they dive it out... straight hammer vs. curved -- how are they exiting it, there are a few different ways that are a little easier. It's a pretty cool program though.

The real deal! It's an Alouette, and it belongs to the DZ. No more jumps from that tiny R44. - Jim that boy Eddowes....
-
?? jumpable???? or a diaz toy?
-
her competition suit with "FX" mods will be the cordora bootie, and butt, "pleats" and square grippers.
-
well, if you use their continuity and exit plan, it is an excellent tool. Its pretty neat program actually.

I usually take 4 advil, so when I was offered Aleve after a hard day of 4way, I was like OK, took 4. everyone was like, you know you're only supposed to take like 2 a day of them. They kept an eye on my I don't think it affected me to much (well, maybe my therapist would disagree....)
-
I did see it, but had purged all knowledge of it from my brain. In fact, I wish you hadn't reminded me. PS if you and your buddies can do a Beartrap www.iit.edu/~kallend/skydive/beartrap.jpg in 12 seconds from a USPA rules 10-way exit, you guys would take silver at Nationals, since Airspeed took over 15. in fact, just a couple weeks ago we built that same formation.... a few of the folks around DeLand know a little about 10 way

Actually, aren't they both technically NSAIDs? NSAID = Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. huh, and a nurse told me they weren't. go figure. maybe Ibuprofen is a stronger anti-inflamitory *shrug* beats me.
-
Mmm... I'll prolly grab some on lunchbreak. Aleve and Tylenol are both pain meds, but are not anti-inflamitory, you might want to consider an anti-inflamatory.
-
Why not? Do they mess with flying? it compromises bootie design a bit (the catching air part), plus I've seen some "bootie blowouts" where the zipper comes open in freefall, once during nationals 01. Her (Bev) designs without the zippers are quite easy to get on and off, and fit better, IMO.

how could it -- here's the 10 way debreif "go faster #8"
