No, I can't vote in VA, anymore. I lived on the MDS side for four years for school (UMCP) and was gainfully employed in NoVA for long enough to register. ("gainfully" hell, I was a damn good salesman, too bad I hated it) I;ve since moved farther south, and am largely unconcerned with the goings-on in that part of the country. OK, ok, ok, just need to get this laughing under control. Whew, ok. Um, no. NYC is a good example of how big brother can happen. Their crime rates (city and state) have not been doing anything wonderful. Many other areas (with far fewer cops per capita) have done much better in reducing their crime rates. Understood. All I'm saying is if things keep going the way they are right now, you won't be able to say that in five or ten years. And your experience is underwhelming. Just because I can use this thing doesn't mean I know what I'm doing. OK, so here's my computer gripe for the week. I don't know WTF happened, but at some point this week, everything on my computer reset itself. God only knows why. All my settings were scattered, my preferences poofed, and my homepage just plain hijacked to the MS site. Anyway, I think I've got everything fixed, except nothing javascript works. No smileys, no pop ups, no spell checker, no yahoo address book, no thumbnail pics working, no nothing. So I went into Tools: Internet Options, and everything says it should be working there. So ok, what else could be screwing with me? Is something else overriding MSIE settings that I don't know about?
