Been 4 months for me and I still crave a smoke. But having 6 years clean I know how to deal with a craving until it goes away and it ALWAYS goes away. Days I knew I was going to be in the car for a long time (when I smoked the most) I would put a patch on in the morning. I tried not to use them every day and some days I would put one on in the afternoon. I never kept them on longer then 14 hours though. For me that little bit helped get through the really rough days. Coming up on 4 months. I took it for one month. I smoked a pack a day or more for more years then I cna count. I did use the Step 3 patches as well when I was really craving. Not sure the Chantix alone would have done it but only using 12-14 patches during the 30 days I was taking the chantix still has cost less then what I wes spending on smokes. I had no vivid dreams. smokes didn't taste any different but if you don't want to quit nothing is going to help. You have to WANT TO or don't even waste your money. Your not alone. It isn't natural to throw yourself at a giant rock from 2 miles up. Breathe deep and if it is un-controllable then ride the plane down and try the next load or even the next day or week. You don't have to jump the Tri you should be able to put a bigger canopy in that container but your rigger will be able to answer that.
