You can take my protrack off my body I want to see what my fall rate is for 6 feet or so before the noose tightens "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

WARNING THIS IS SARCASTIC. We should all get our reserves repacked by Ed because he would'nt dare to put a sloppy repack in a fellow americans container. After all he just bleeds red blue and white. He personally sees that every American's re-pack is functionally perfect and cosmetically clean and only packed to the tune of patriotic music (the star spangled banner, the army song, the marine song and Born in the USA). He is so damn patriotic I feel like a fucking communist. I should have served 10 more years in the military..dammit I'll go hang myself right now. Aggie dave can have my Reflex with the PD 176R and Wane can have my Vector 3, but only if you send them to Ed Cummings to get re-packed. WTF??? Levin jumps in jeans and boots unders his freefly suit.(got rid of his ropers for those frankenstein orthopedics) and he don't let no one pack for him.. ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

Guest's don't place and Brian and Colon (both cool cats) belong in open division anyway. that just shows how good Trent, Stevie and Jed did, that a guest team with at least 10,000 combined freefly jumps just between Colon and Brian only managed to outscore Spaceland by .1 average. not to put Brian and Colon down or anything, they were probably helping the third guy have fun. ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

Congrats to dot commer Trent & his FF team for taking GOLD!

I knew they'd win. They worked very hard. Trent's dad has about had it with this Nationals crap... . haha ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce. -
technically I guess the record is the biggest freefly campfire. Until someone posts a 13 way campfire (freefly speeds, not belly attempt that became a zoo when the base funnels) I know it is not like a 5 way freefly docked or 6 way hybrid..but... Has anyone else thrown intentional 12 DZ comers out of a plane for a freefly campfire? ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

Those are great, you really get a sense of all the bodies there. Plus everyone did a great job at breakoff on the second jump. ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

cross posted from freefly I have the infamous yellow slip of paper. So we chunked 11 DZ com-ers (12 if Anna or Beth was on that one) out of a casa built a 3-way hybrid and had a campfire

I have a vengeance 135, FX 109 and VX 97. This is probably contrary to common thinking but I have been dropped on my ass by the fX and the vX in bumpy wind but never the vengeance. maybe it has the ability to flare better if I am below full flight (due to braked turns or 1/4 brake flight) because it has more material. I really don't know. Could be just coincidence and I am due to get dropped on the vengeance one of these days I do like all 3 canopies, but I don't want to jump any non-cross braced in gusty wind other than my vengeance or a competition cobalt (jumped Eric Butz's 120 it wa really neat). s ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

Wow you must have been loading that 103 light. I guess Levins lines on his 74 are significantly shorter than my 109 or my 97. ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

Also if the brake lines are too tight (maybe on a demo) you might be pulling the tail down a little bit when you grab the front riser (making it hard also). I've found FX @2.0 kinda hard extremely hard if moving fast after last minute maneuver. velocity at 2.1 little harder than above, and of course bad if you have too much speed when you grab it VX at 2.2 even harder and it is very easy to have too much speed if you are sashaying to get a good set up. The perfect method is to cruise along in full flight right to your altitude and turn location and start your carve or hook. Floating in brakes a litle bit will make the riser pressure lighter at hook time due to the slower speed. What makes these canopies much so advanced is that once you are moving extremely fast it is harder to put in more riser correction for your turn or carve into a swoop lane. Canopies like the vengeance (1.7) and even more so the competition Cobalt (1.9ish) are much easier too zip around to your perfect turn area then execute your maneuer with lots of corrections because the pressure is very low. Rumor has it that the smaller canopies tend to have lighter riser pressuer at the smae wingloading...well I weight 195 pounds and my friend Levin weighs 120, if we are both loaded at 2.0 he is a smaller wieght suspended beneath his canopy and ...well if he can do more chin ups than me maybe he thinks his riser pressure is lighter He can do a 540 and I can barely do a 360 on my fX or VX...course I don't land that way I do carving 180s....

the author was probably extremely sympathetic to Israel for some reason or another "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

Granted I was in the United Arab Emirates (Bankers of Osama) which is probably the cleanest and safest place over there unlike Saudi. I was there this winter (4 months after 9/11)while the Israelis were doing the masacre at Jenin, Bush was gesticulating about the Axis of Evil, and Reuters and AP were reporting about all the civilian casualties in afganistan that were not reported in CNN US. I drove by myself all over the UAE in the desert and took taxis on 2.5 hour trips. I stayed in portable housing outside of a plant..the housing was called "the American camp" by the locals. I was scared when I arrived, but I was treated very civilly. I have really mixed over there, I have felt uncomfortable but I have been welcomed by very kind citizens also. The people that were the nicest were poor pakistanis and persons from palestine and Jordan. Some of the rudest were rich arabs fat on oil money. I have also (at the tender age of 7-13) been yelled at and told I'm going to hell by catholic and baptist preachers. culture shock affects everyone. Saudi is the way it is because of the saudis. The emirates is different because of its rulers, and Libya is different because of its ruler. The're all muslim but how the people act is caused by their rulers. If a dictator can hypnotise a populace and blame poverty and starvation on an outside power in order to keep themselves in power, they will do it. And religion (or the state as a religion) is used to bend peoples will. wait I'm ranting... I understand your point and everyone can not help being prejudiced to some extent. ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.
