I can't count how many times I opened up at 14k and practiced various riser dives and flares on every canopy from 175 to 97. I firmly believe those extra minutes under canopy with no traffic make up for a lot of holding in brakes at 3k from a skydive. sure. there are solid metal rings around the lines. they stay. the slider has a 4 draw strings that each pull a straight pin. this straight pin dislodges a nylon loop from attaching to the metal rings on the lines. the four strings all connect to one big string in the middle of the slider. He pulls the one big string and then all corners of the slider detach from the rings round the line groups. of course the detacheable d-bag and pilot chut are attached to the slider also. Jay stuffs it in the butt area of his pants after he retirieves it. looks pretty funny. TJ stuffs it in the belly section of his jump suit (looks like he is going to have a baby). I don't think I'll get detonation unless, I get on it and my wastegate and boost gauge fails and I go to 8 psi or above and I do not have octane boost or race gas in the car. If more than one of those happens I am in trouble anyway Detonation is caused by an air fuel mixture that reaches auto-ignition temperature in a part of the cylinder before the flame front from the spark plug reaches that part of the cylinder. I will have a big inter cooler and my turbo should be properly sized to stay in the most efficient part of the curve thus reducing temperature increase from compression (I hope) "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

I can buy a cold air intake worth 6 hp yes. but new bullit intake manifold ported and polished (inside not shiny on out) is about 2k long tube headers $500 ported and polished heads ~$1500 dyno tune $500 installation $1000 that combo would give me about 340-350 hp (instead of 260)hp ramon "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

cool. not sure what the GT is stock. I better keep it at 6psi. hopefully if I open up the exaust the wastegate will handle it well. The 03 cobra is 8.5/1 and does 8 psi with the eaton blower. "Revolution is an abrupt change in the form of misgovernment.", Ambrose Bierce.

Helps alot. I am getting a very good deal since I am getting a prototype. It will be intercooled and I will keep the boost low (6psi), and will run high octane gas only. I may have to advance my timing and or supply an ignition retard device to prevent detonation, but these are all the same problems faced by the supercharger community.
