  1. Then explain, please. I'd be happy with a better candidate than Biden, too, I just see problems doing it clean and easy without Harris agreeing it's not her. That is an issue to overcome. So step by step how do you see the change happening?
  2. So you are backing away from your likelihood prediction? Wise move.
  3. Let's talk mechanics. That's your expertise, right? So step by step without assumptions how does a new candidate get to the top of the ticket? Not who, how. Is it as simple as Biden announcing that he wasn't running but would finish his term? He'd have to make clear he wasn't supporting any candidate (read Kamala) and just let her be pissed, I guess.
  4. Or maybe we get hit by an asteroid, also an outlier event. But now you have me curious, what expertise or insight do you have that allows you to claim the likelihood? Other than the constant chatter about any and everything by anybody with a keyboard or microphone I've heard nothing serious.
  5. As BIGUN so aptly observed, I'd be happy to vote for a potato on a stick over Trump. The joy there is that we then would need only 83 million more potato lovers to win. We just might have them, still, in spite of George Clooney. Yes, Biden is old, frail, and is scaring the holy crap out of we who are totally freaked out about Trump ver. 2. But that does not mean it's beyond the realm of possibility that he can win. The world is far from out of outlier events. Just as the USSC put their honey dipped thumbs on the scale maybe the Fed takes a turn and pops out saying Bidenomics is working, inflation is now on a down trajectory so we're dropping interest rates .5% and expect another cut this year. Add that to the media waking up to the fact that it's Trumps meandering, disjointed, dangerous blathering that needs exposure and who knows?
  6. He bastardized a '67 Vette? Did he come from a home where the parents liked different football teams? I don't know but whatever he was eventually jailed for I hope he got early release and a car wash job.
  7. F'n enough. I told you that's my plan and you aren't helping by spurring interest and running up the price. Maybe go back to bribing convenience store clerks or trading double dime bags for electrons in the hood.
  8. Fine. Now again, how would you fix it? Forced marriage? Daddy’s wear ankle monitors? Who pays for it all?
  9. Excellent, but I’m holding out for Sarah Brightman.
  10. Did they discuss any correlation to institutional racism, redlining, and stuff like that as contributors to the numbers of single parent homes? Did they at all go out of their way to point out that two parents of the same sex might be better than one parent of any sex? Other than writing a story that would appeal to most non-thinkers and get the required eyeballs was there any mention of the greater cost of society not intervening economically vs. the more appealing cost of just harrfumphing see, see, I told you, I told you!
  11. Now maybe he'll go back to 1970 like that Hissone guy who also couldn't handle facts.
  12. Okay, I hadn't really thought about it closely so thank you. Good to know that at least our tourist hurricanes are welcome.
  13. Well, EXCUSE ME!!!!! What solar system are you from????? Banks require insurance for your home and car loans. That’s why the government passed Insurance For All act so gougers couldn’t screw us. That’s because the government knows that banks, if we couldn’t get insurance, would protect their money by charging 20% interest like the vultures at the credit card companies. And that’s why the Supreme Court gave authority to oversee and regulate to the (cue Rod Serling and the music) regulatory agencies in the Chevron against Fisherman decision some years ago. So no offense to Canadians ( who had their asses handed to them at the NATO summit for being moochers) but here in Ameristan we have it covered.
  14. Yes, well back to who will replace Biden, jump to minute 45 and watch Biden address NATO. Ask yourself honestly, aside from the slight tongue tangles from a born impediment, is this a man who presents as a President? Is this a man to vote for?
  15. Besides, it’s good training for the real future, not the fake future they keep forcing on us . I mean, just wait until you’re forced to pay more taxes for one of those new fangled eye regenerators for kids or, worse , one of those stupid Dyson spheres the solar alarmists are screaming about.
  16. Good point. Apparently awareness of the world around you is at risk of ending when you stop jumping. I can see that in a few posters here.
  17. That's your problem, not societies. If naught else some kids will have parents and, hopefully, a stable loving family. You know, as opposed to wasting away in an orphanage or bouncing from being unwanted in a succession of foster homes. Your particular brand of homophobia may get you through the day but it doesn't help kids with no family of any type.
  18. Absolutely. Call me old fashioned but I continue to draw the line at my employees selling my stuff on the side or giving off the record discounts without permission. That is theft. Now I'll need to go back to see who was working when Bill was jumping.
  19. And your friends paid for your fuel, too. A real win-win. Of course nowadays all a guy needs to do is bribe a 7-11 clerk.
  20. It’s interesting where other plans aren’t only because it recognizes in point 1 that the plan will need the backing of Harris. At least they recognize that much. As I said, she won’t go quietly into the night.
  21. He’s in for this week, anyway. It’s NATO meeting week. Let’s see how that goes.
  22. Sure but if they can't script oxy what good are they?
  23. Hmm.., I'd guess you were tough to crack.
