  7. It's really going to depend upon what you want to use the camera for. Do you want a good optical zoom? Do you want to use a certain type of memory card? Is the camera mainly going to be used for indoor, outdoor, or bukkake photography? Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  8. Feh....you kids today, with your hula-hoops and Doobie Brothers records. Me, I'm taking it old-skool with an old-fashioned uterus stomping. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  9. Incorrect. I suggest you do some research on the Raven Dash-MZ. It's a hybrid with both low-porosity and ZP fabric. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  10. Yup, you're flirting. It may never break, or it could mess up next time. The good thing about hard-drives for portable applications is that they're seriously over-built and over-engineered, especially when it comes to shock-protection and error correction. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  11. Sweet crispy Jesus. I knew I picked the right time to move to Tampa. It was a chilly 73 here today. Too bad I'll have nothing but Otters to jump out of this weekend. Muahahahaha!!!! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  12. I used to work for Seagate Technology, as an Associate Engineer in their tape and disc division, so allow me to answer this one... Hard drives require a certain amount of atmospheric density to operate properly. This is because the read / write heads actually float on a cusion of air just a few micrometers above the surface of the platter. This cushion of air is generated on the platter because it's an "air-bearing surface". Now that we have that out of the way, if you were to take a hard drive above 10,000ft MSL, there's a strong chance you'll damage the disc in one of two ways: 1. The air density is too low and the head slaps the platter upon initialization. The platter will be moving at a minimum of 5400RPM, up to 10,000RPM in higher-end drives. The head contacting the surface at just 5400RPM will still leave a hell of a gouge and destroy the head. 2. The air-bearing surface isn't strong enough and a jolt that would be acceptable during normal operating specs causes a head slap and subsequent crash as outlined above. Any questions? edited to fix: Grr, I misspelled cushion. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

  19. That's funny... The weather reports for San Diego show that the skies are clear and the winds are doing 5-10mph. Perfect skydiving weather. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  20. Great....just great. Now what am I going to do with all of these Zero-Point energy converters, hyperspace taps, cold fusion appliances, and spin batteries? Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

  22. Have you fixed the problem with the test pilot melting to the engine yet? Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  23. You rang?! My GTi is sized for me @ 5'8" and 245-255 pounds. There's a whole lotta fabric on that suit. Out the door, I'm probably about 275-280. I can hold low 70's to mid 60's, and I've touched 50's in it, but it's wobbly as hell. I'm also woefully inexperienced and have only done a small handful of jumps at all this year, but I should be fixing that here quite soon so I'll have to see if I can get even better. I may not be the slowest, but I still have a blast flying it! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
