Squeak, You're an observant being... That's all I have to say. PM me with your details and I'll add you back. And, yes, things are quite dead lately. Bunch of freakin' slackers! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I'm taking 6 units as I'm just easing back into school while working full time.

For my wife and I's first anniversary last weekend, we went to a fancy French restaurant and we both had Kobe beef Filet Mignon with black truffles and crab. You could cut it with a fork. Steak is its own food group as far as I'm concerned! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I've seen first-hand what Sunshine is capable of. You should see what she can do with a crossbow. *shudder* That poor ninja never knew what was coming. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

MEMORIES, FUNNY STORIES, PICS: Mariann Kramer
Kris replied to arlo's topic in Blue Skies - In Memory Of
I've got a lot of great memories of Mariann from my time at Skydive Dallas. I still remember the time that she managed to get the Caravan up with just her, Rick Duran, myself, and 2 buddies on board. That was a fun, fast, comfy ride to altitude! I'll definitely miss seeing her smile and watching her amazing canopy piloting... Fly Free, Mariann. You need more choices. Dagny and I have 4 ferrets, 2 cats, 1 bird, and a new Bichon Frise puppy. Yeah, it's a regular menagerie! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

IIRC, the counted his nighttime bailout from his fighter jet as 199 jumps, and he got his honorary D (D-20000) after his first AFF. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

silly question...what can i send someone who lives in hawaii?
Kris replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
You do realize, of course, that Hawaii has been a state for some time now, and was never a 3rd world country....right? Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™ -
*Pssst*.... All of us cool people live in Tampa / St. Pete / Clearwater, which means we're damn close to Z-Hills. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Considering that there are already two high-strength rare-earth magnets already sitting next to the hard driver platters and heads, I don't think that's going to work. Now, sometihing like an alternating current electro magnet (aka bulk eraser) may be a better bet. Here's some interesting reading regarding securely erasing hard drives... This poll is worthless since rates are also going to vary depending on where you live. I was nicely surprised to find out that moving from OK to FL last year barely raised my rates at all. Renters insurance was a different story. I'm paying 2.5 times as much. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I jump a Stiletto in a Mirage and of the very few (maybe 4) times I've had linetwists (in almost 400 jumps on it), all have been caused by bad body position. I knew I was a shoulder low, or wasn't quite straight in the harness when I deployed, but only had a couple of twists. Of those 4, 3 were while wearing a wingsuit. I think that, honestly, it just comes down to keeping the pack job clean and deploying symmetrically. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

The Deliverator's car has enough potential energy packed into its batteries to fire a pound of bacon into the Asteroid Belt. Unlike a bimbo box or a Burb beater, the Deliverator's car unloads that power through gaping, gleaming, polished sphincters. When the Deliverator puts the hammer down, shit happens. You want to talk contact patches? Your car's tires have tiny contact patches, talk to the asphalt in four places the size of your tongue. The Deliverator's car has big sticky tires with contact patches the size of a fat lady's thighs. The Deliverator is in touch with the road, starts like a bad day, stops on a peseta. The only downside I can think of is what happens when you need to replace a cell, stabilizer, etc...? You can't just simply unglue the thing with a solvent can you? Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Well, one could always get the Amex Centurion Black card. But then again, it's invite only, $2500 a year account fee, and you have to charge at least $250,000 a year on it. But it looks damn nifty! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

It's an AmEx...you're supposed to pay it off every month. Hence, if you're smart, there's no interest. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

They are pretty trick, when done right. A big gotcha is that if one is going to use doors like that, you're going to really need to beef up the point where that hinge is going to be. Weld on some more metal or it's going to torque out and tear itself apart over time. Not to mention that you'll need to keep pretty tight tolerance to make sure the door always lines up. Reinforce, reinforce, reinforce! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Here's a pic of a crawfish boil me and Dagny made a few weeks back. Lots of crawfish, some blue crabs, large shrimp, corn & potatos. And a little fried catfish as a side. Mmmm! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Beautifully done, Steve. Thanks.

I'm just ill and in shock right now. Sincerest condolences to her fiance, family, and friends. I'll pop the cork on a bottle of wine tonight in honor of her. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I had the pleasure of getting to see Midori perform a demo / instructional seminar a couple of years back. She's amazing as is, but getting to see her work in person....wow! I managed to get her to autograph her first book for me and she even gave me a slap on the ass. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
