I like Hookit's 2ndTry, your option D and GravityGirl's hipnosisRig. Can't go wrong with any of 'em... Blue skies and happy landings!

* A baby's smile * Kids running to greet you at the door and throwing themselves at you while screaming their delight at seeing you again * Having someone genuinely appreciate me or something I've done * A beautiful sunset * A warm shower on a cold day

Here's a set for Ivan. Move your mouse over them. Vary the speed. Have fun... Blue skies and happy landings!

I can't claim originality but thought this was funny enough to post here. Enjoy.

Hey! That's my older son's name - same spelling and everything! Blue skies and happy landings!

Woo hoo! Congrats, Jaye! I dream about something like this happening to me. In the meantime, I thrill when I see it happen to others. Way to go! Blue skies and happy landings!

In an ordered society, there's no place for vigilante justice. That being said, I'd be inclined to beat the crap out of any bastard who messed with my kids. Would I kill him? I don't know. I'd be inclined to give him a fairly thorough counselling, though. Sending the kid off to spend the night there wasn't the brightest of moves but that's a different issue. Blue skies and happy landings!

My youngest son's name would have been Sierra Ashley if he'd been a girl. We agonized over whether to go with Sierra Ashley or Ashley Sierra for a while. I finally called a former coworker and asked her what she thought about her name. She said she loved having an unusual (but not freakish) name and recommended Sierra highly as a first name. Methinks it's quite pretty. Blue skies and happy landings!

When I was a student I watched a bunch of video clips and saw students doing really dumb things. It may (or may not) sound odd but it helped me to critique what they did. By knowing what they did wrong, I gained knowledge and had at least an idea of what to do if it happened to me. I can imagine someone completely losing it and thrashing around the sky though, in an out of control freefall. I think my JMs would have tried all they could to get to me but if my flailing around prevented a successful hit and pull, I'd bite it. Not their fault - mine. By my way of thinking, it doesn't matter how good a JM is, they can't guarantee success. Here's a nickel. May I have $0.03 change? Blue skies and happy landings!

I had to share my joy toward my new helmet!

1. Gain weight 2. Eat less healthful 3. Exercise less We always seem to end up breaking our resolutions, right? I figured I'd set myself up for success rather than failure. Blue skies and happy landings!

I'm planning to head over to Taft on Saturday for a day of King Air jumping. Will any of you be there? Blue skies and happy landings!

Does anybody else get the feeling there are two threads tragically mixed up here? How about starting another one to debate the whole suicide thing and letting this thread serve as a memorial to a departed skydiver? I may have to don my flameproof suit for this observation but it seems that those pointing out the fact that suicide frequenly hurts those left behind are doing a good job of making those who are grieving hurt worse. Here's to Chute and the rest of Kat69's friends and skydiving buddies who are dealing with a difficult time. It's always sad to lose part of our extended "family" regardless the reason. Blue skies and happy landings!

How about doing more to protect the aircraft in the air? The Israeli airline has reinforced cockpit doors and the flight deck crew is under explicit orders not to open it in flight for *any* reason. While they're arguably the most terrorized nation on the planet, they've had no hijackings. Kinda difficult when you can't get into the cockpit, y'know. Blue skies and happy landings!

Who do you think should be on the dime? Edited to correct stupid mistake in subject. My brain's still in a sinus induced fog, sorry... Blue skies and happy landings!

Sorry, Dove, but I have to disagree. Being a guy with a hairy butt, there's no pair of panties in the world that would look good on me... Blue skies and happy landings!

Sorry to hear about this, Brian. I hope some good can come of this and that folks can become more accepting of others. Hang in there and do something she'd appreciate. It's the best way to honor her memory. Blue skies and happy landings!

On the contrary. The idea behind the post was to show that teachers are paid less than babysitters to educate our nation's future leaders. Frightening prospect! Blue skies and happy landings!
