to quote a girl friend who put it better than I could: "size only matters if a guy is clueless in bed. In that case, bigger is better. However, if a guy either knows what he's doing, or can take a bit of gentle directing, size isn't all that important."

1. Edwards 2. Cindy Miscikowski (LA City Councilmember, and one of the most logical and rational people I've had the pleasure to work with) 3. Dunno...I'd have said Powell before this whole WMD thing. Not sure I still have the same confidence in him as before.

Glad she's home safe!!! Please call your local vet, PetSmart, or shelter TODAY, and get Molly a microchip. They're about $40, including registration with PetTrac, which is the database that maintains all the animal and owner info. Most shelters have scanners for the AVID chips. Call your local shelters and ask to make sure. If they don't have the scanners, talk to your local vet who is injecting the microchip. The vet can arrange with AVID for the shelter to receive a free scanner. The needle they use to inject the chip looks HUGE, but it really isn't bad. The chip is about the size of a grain of rice. My cat got chipped when he was six weeks old, and he didn't make a sound! Course, afterwards, he turned around and hissed at the vet, but its so worth it! Its nice to know that your furry friends have ID even if they lose their collar.

Strip clubs: fine Hiring strippers: fine more than that: not fine. I wouldn't have any objection to a visit to a strip club before OR after a wedding. Its simply no big deal. I've never been to one, but wouldn't object to going myself. I wouldn't object to a hired stripper either. I've watched one myself, so I'd be a hypocrite if I objected. (story: I was an RA in college and was making my last walk around the dorm before I was off duty. Came across a room that was kinda loud, so I knocked. Turned out the lesbians from the gay and lesbian awareness association had hired a stripper! I checked the rule book (we were required to carry it) and found that TECHNICALLY, they weren't breaking any rules. I was then invited to sit down and enjoy the party. so, I did. The guy I was dating at the time got a kick out of hearing the story the next day! ) Basically, I'd say the place to draw the line at a bachelor party is the same place you'd draw the line any other day of the week. For me, I'd draw the line at most forms of physical contact. If I found my guy kissing another girl (other than a platonic hello kiss for a good friend or something), stripper or no, I'd consider it cheating and would be really pissed off. I judge my behavior around others with this standard: If my significant other was sitting right here and saw me doing this, would they be pissed? If the answer is "yes, they'd be pissed", reconsider the current course of action. I wouldn't do anything away from my SO that I wouldn't do in front of him.

some well-meaning person may have thought she was lost and picked her up. Call ALL your local animal shelters and give them her description.

Because the US is not one of those countries. Those countries have their own laws, and their citizens are bound by them, but those laws have no jurisdiction here. We are bound by the first amendment, which grants freedom of speech and the freedom to peaceably assemble. There are no restrictions on what views can be expressed. Although I disagree with the messages put forth by some groups, I will NEVER attempt to trample on their right to assemble and express their views, because that is my right too, and I'd like to keep it, thanks. If I successfully lobby to take away their rights, there is nothing stopping someone else from returning the favor.

Go see your regular doctor. Get a second opinion if they told you that. My doc used to be the official sports doctor for the Rams when they were in LA, and she's told me to stay off a sprain as long as it looks bruised too. Breaks, she's had me walk on, but sprains, because its soft tissue damage, can take much longer to heal if you're putting weight on them. Example: I sprained my thumb, badly. It was purple and looked a heck of a lot like your ankle. Went to the ER. the doc put an ace wrap on it and told me to keep the wrap on and go easy on it for a week or so. Two months later, its still hurting. I go see my regular doc. She takes one look at it, freaks, mutters something about medical incompetence, and tells me it needs to be in a splint and immobilized. I was not permitted to use it at all. I put it in the splint. Sure enough, it then healed up just fine.

Life is not complete until: I remember to take time to just breathe in and feel the sun and the wind on my face and spend one little moment to just...be.

so long as its still purple, don't put weight on it. At least, that's what my physical therapist told me when I sprained mine bad.

I'm trying to set something up with the Jim Wallace school at Perris to do my water training for my B license, hopefully over the Boogie weekend. If more than 2 people are interested, its $20 a person, otherwise, its $50, so I'm hoping to find some more interested people who are going to be at the boogie and want their water training out of the way so they can get their B. Anyone?

Exactly. Just because I disagree with their message does not give me the right to try to silence it.

depends on whether or not the Uni is public or private. If its a private school, they can ban what they wish. If its a public school, they have a right to free speech there, as long as they follow the guidelines required by the university and don't break any laws. I doubt the terrorism thing will fly, because the klan has been rather inactive over the past years. However, I would say that their past behavior of bombing churches and terrorizing african americans would definitely qualify them as a terrorist organziation. It depends on how the courts choose to interpret the laws.

Tunnel Time Entry in Profile.
Nightingale replied to cybervagrant's topic in Suggestions and Feedback
that'd be cool... also might be cool to have a tunnel rat forum, since tunnel work seems to be gaining in popularity and interest because of the current and planned tunnels. -
Personally, I could care less about money. As long as I have enough of my own to pay my rent, keep me and the kitties fed, and pitch myself out of a plane every so often, I'm happy. However, its something that's very important to some people, which is unfortunate, because I think they miss out on a lot because they're too busy counting the cost.

LOL! a possibility!

I was saying that might've been HER point of view. I didn't mean I felt the same way. Each couple has to figure that stuff out for themselves. Obviously, he didn't know her as well as he thought.

hehe. I'd love to put a ram air kite on Teddy, but used pilot chutes are cheaper. -
HEHE. ROFL. Funniest thing I heard was from Kate Cooper: Kate: "um...I already know what you're going to say, but I'm going to ask anyway...since we're going to be outside and far away from the camera, do I still have to wear that foundation stuff?? I can't feel the wind on my face. I know its windy because my hair is moving, but I can't feel it!" Me: "Yes. Sit."

hehe. I think Paige will owe the beer. Its her teddy. However, I will make sure photos are taken of the "test flights" -
Michele, Jen and Mary ROCKED this weekend! They worked tremendously hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone took the whole shoot so seriously, which helped a lot in things running smoothly. The photographers were wonderful professionals and got some AMAZING shots! And our door guards took their jobs very seriously, making sure the ladies and photographers inside weren't disturbed. Melanie and the DZ bent over backwards to make the shoot everything it could be, and Kate let us take over her team room for make-up (thanks much! having my own workspace really helped me get everyone ready in a reasonable amount of time!) To everyone involved: You're AWESOME! The photos are amazing, and I have no doubt you're going to love the finished calendar. If the other shoots go as well, Michele, Jen, and Mary will have the hardest job of all: choosing!
