And when I'm out on business it isn't a ramen and fast food event either. Business breakfasts, lunches, dinners, etc are business events. Business means working to make a profit. This isn't what a BOD meeting is about. It isn't a business deal. It's an organizational meeting. $35 dollars a day will give anyone a good, healthy diet in a day without eating ramen or fast food. Sure they do. The SIM says that "Skydivers participating in night jumping should meet all the requirements for a USPA B or higher license." before making a night jump. It doesn't say anything about actually having a B license. I'm not trying to play word games either. The wording seems very clear to me. The SIM also says that someone who wants a PRO rating must "possess a USPA D license" So there is a distinct different about how they word such things. Owned by Remi #?

You're mixing the 2 things together. I didn't call about the Triathlon demo. I haven't purchased anything at all yet. I was actually in contact with someone at Aerodyne about the Pilot and they failed to send it as promised. There was a Sabre2 at hand on my DZ that I was interested in buying but I thought I'd at least try the Pilot first. When they failed to actually send the Pilot, I went ahead and bought the Sabre2. Is it most student gear or some student gear? And what exactly is it, in your opinion, about "student gear" that isn't good for FF? I've seen lots of student gear that's fine for FF. Of course, "lots" is a pretty relative term. I haven't been around long and I've only been to a dozen or so DZs so my experience with what's being used for students might be much more limted than yours. Owned by Remi #?

Well, no. Not exactly. You do NOT NEED a B license to make a night jump. You only need to be qualified for a B license. I never got my B and know several others who chose to save that 20 bucks and make a skydive with it instead of sending in the paperwork and getting the number. Owned by Remi #?
