Only because I take the Boston T System regularly... I don't think its a bad idea. You'd have to see how it is set up. They need more securuty, and although this isn't the 'way' to do it, something needs to be done. It can't be selective screening - they need to screen everyone. They need to make it so the only people on the T platforms are once that have already gone through a security check point - similar to the airport. The problem with this is that Boston has the oldest rail system in the US, and enclosing all the rail systems would be very hard and expensive. Security is very lax there now. I can't even count the number of times a drunk or strung out person is randomly on the platforms late at night. I used to live in Boston, and would travel the T alone as a young child. I couldn't do it now as an adult, and won't do it without a man accompanying me. They don't do enough to keep the platforms safe for passengers, and the T cars are just as bad. They keep raising the fares, but not the sense of security. Jen Arianna Frances

hehe - you've seen me drive This time they gave the person that caused the accident a citation - so that keeps my husband off the hook. LOL. I think the insurance check is going to pay off the little amount left on the KIA - so we're the proud new owners of a sparkly blue Honda Civic coupe. Its perrrrttttyyy. Jen Arianna Frances

good luck! I'm doing the same thing - just found out today that my school took close to NONE of my 30+ credits from another school, so what I thought was going to be one semester and I'm done, has now turned into a full year.... so we should start a "done in May 05" club or something Good luck! Jen Arianna Frances

haha! Hey, those KIAs hold up pretty well considering the type of cars hitting them! hehe I think we're going the Honda Civic route this time though - if we can get a good deal that is. Jen Arianna Frances

Science has made fantastic advancements with battery/battery life in the past 20 years. It amazes me all the time. If they can do this - I can only imagine what they will come up with next: http://home.businesswire.com/portal/site/google/index.jsp?ndmViewId=news_view&newsId=20040514005525&newsLang=en Jennifer Arianna Frances -
I went through this same thing earlier this year. Talk DIRECTLY with her insurance company - they will get everything rolling. I went through my insurance company and it took me close to a week before I got a rental. Good luck! Jen Arianna Frances
