    Respect....

Yep, I see it more and more. We're a very selfish society and it makes me sick. Jen Arianna Frances
  2. Hey mar, did you notice you're nephews 'other site' he had listed? hehe http://spiceplay.com/home/ I'm sure some of the guys here would appreciate his work But I think those rejection hotlines/websites are great - glad to see he's doing a good service for people
  3. hehe.... be sure to check out the upcoming calendar! Jen Arianna Frances
  4. Nope, but I know what your problem is... Providence radio. It sux ass - really. Jen Arianna Frances
  5. Boy do I agree with that! I took 2 jobs when the 'living with mom and dad' thing loomed over head! But... its only 4 to 6 months in order to pay off all your bills? WoW! I'd go for it. After that... you can move out and get a place of your own, or move back to Reno. Best of luck, I'm sure whatever you decide will be great! Jen Arianna Frances
  6. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The vets were great! They gave us a folder filled with lots of information on grieving and poems about cats. It was really touching. I got to hold her and cuddle her the entire time, which I didn't get to do with the last cat I put down. It was so peaceful She's in a better place now. I only had her for 2.5 years. I adopted her through www.siameserescue.org when she was picked up from a local shelter in Virginia Beach, emanciated and sick. She was over 10 years old and they almost put her down because no one wanted her. Well I did! What a great presence she was in my life. I'm so glad we had last nigth and part of this morning with her. I held her for hours, even spent some time outside with her in the sun. She loved the sun. Her big blue eyes were shining. I can still see her looking at me with what I hope was a sense of peace. I know she waiting with Fat cat for the two of us slappie. I only hope she also found her first meowmy up there too (she was an elderly lady who passed away from cancer and the family didn't want her 3 cats so they gave them to a shelter). She's laying in the sun on nice green grass - I just know it. The house is more empty, but we did the right thing. Bye bye sweet baby, run free from pain and suffering. Jen Arianna Frances
  7. Used to be. I was an ovolacto vegetarian for 8 years (ages 12-20). I stopped after I was diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome and had to more carefully watch what I eat do to not being able to take most medication. Course going back to animal products made it alot hardered for me to count calories and so thats been the only negative thing. But I really enjoyed it and feel it broadened my vegetable palate quite a bit. I don't think there's a vegetable I won't eat, where as there are many animal products I won't go near. The only down side was that I found myself eating ALOT of breads and carbs which wasn't good - you have to be really willing to try different stuff and vary your diet alot. There are lots of great resources to help - you should give it a shot!
  8. Today I'm going to help my baby girl join the other healthy happy cats waiting patiently at the Rainbow Bridge. She's given me so many years of joy and happiness, the least I can do is end her suffering. She's my baby and I will feel like less than a person without her, but I know I am doing the right thing. Here are some pictures of my baby at her finest. She's so beautiful. Jen Arianna Frances
  9. And you know this because youknow all the 'top players'? No? Didn't think so. Stop over generalizing - it's not particularly intellectually becoming. Jen Arianna Frances
  10. Did you actually watch the tournament? I used to date a man that was trying out for the US table tennis team. To say we was amazing was an understatement. He actually lifted weights to prepare for tournaments. He did hand eye coordination drills multiple times a day and had a personal coach to practice with. I doubt your bar drinking friend, who weighs 300 lbs. could say he's done that. There are fat men that play football and baseball too - but does that make them olympic quality? I don't think so. You shouldn't be so judgemental before you know all the ins and outs on a subject. That must be a guy thing... Jen Arianna Frances

  13. ya, like I would have figured that one out! nm - got it to play although I have no idea how Arianna Frances
  14. Ok, I give up.... I haven't tried to watch a DVD on my new laptop before - so I throw in Butterfly Effect, Directors Cut. Why does it have to be so complicated? I just want to watch the danm movie - but it installs something called InterActual Player and now I can't get the stupid thing to play, it just gives me a bunch of 'extras' that mean nothing. I really don't want to read the script as I'm watching the movie! Am I doing something wrong? Jen Arianna Frances
  15. I'm shopping on ebay for a new backpack for my 15.4" laptop - which is an odd size for most backpacks. So I go on ebay to see if I can get a good deal. It should surprise me how many asshats sell stuff on ebay. They don't even include any measurements with their bags so I can find out if my 'puter will fit. So I'm sending notes to the sellers asking them for dimensions. They start out with "Hi, I saw your bag - could you tell me if my 15.4" laptop will fit", but eventually after 20 or so of these notes they end with "Hey! People might actually bid on your stuff if you bothered to put even marginal information!!!! How about we start with the basics ok?!!!?!?! Like what size is the bag?! What material is it made of?!?!? How many compartmets does it have?!?! Next time actually take the time to describe stuff and you might actually sell them! How you became a power seller I'll never know". At that point I had to close the browser. If I get a reply from half those people I'll be surprised! LOL Jen Arianna Frances
  16. Ya, thats another thing Rosa (thanks for bringing up the guys!) What is it will the beer gut guys wearing those wife-beater t-shirts with the man boobs hanging out? That and the whole boxers way above the hangin' low jeans thing is just nasty Ok, I think I just described my brother Jen - who thinks everyone at the dropzone will laugh at him when he does his first tandem there this weekend. Internet Radio

Thanks for the opinions guys. I must say, I really like live365 so far. It might have ads, but not as many as launch - and they don't seem to turn it off every once in a while like launch did. The only thing i really like about Launch is the ability to program 'your station'. I have really varied interests - from alt. rock to Techno/trance/dance; from Classical to 80s pop and I like to get that all on one channel, which launch and spinner will let you do. On the other hand, live365 will let you get an an all classical or jazz station without paying any more money. Listening to a smooth jazz station at the moment, which is really nice! I'm breezing through my math homework now! LOL Thanks again all - keep 'em coming if you got 'em! Jen Arianna Frances
  18. LMAO! Been doing some people watchin' lately JP? Ya, some people don't have fashion sense (this isn't saying I do either, but some are WAY out there). My super obese neighbor comes to mind.... big fat guy in his 50s always mows his lawn without a shirt on *shudder* Jen Arianna Frances
  19. Umm... what do you mean robbed? As in - the page comes up blank? Obviously you made it to dz.com so you have 'net access... so more explanation is needed por favor Jen Arianna Frances

    Internet Radio

I'm seldom on the 'net without some internet radio station playing. Most (if not all) of the good ones now have a paid service that offers good perks opposed to the 'free' service, and I'm going to subscribe to one of them soon... so I'm asking what do you folks listen to and why? So far I really like: Launchcast (yahoo radio) Spinner (netscape radio) Which do you like? Jen Arianna Frances
  21. Wow - he's 21 now? Its amazing how time flies! Jen Arianna Frances
  22. Only having gone through something similar - Oaklahoma City is very slow, and very strict with their 'laws' regarding Class 3 Medicals. Your best bet would be to wait until your treatments are over. Best of luck - you'll eventually get it (unlike me). Jen Arianna Frances
