  1. Donate it to a non-profit. I used to play in a community group that its non-profit status. You can write it off on your taxes for much more than you would get from a private party. I used to play alto - and had a student model yamaha into college. I took very good care of it and couldn't get $100 for it - mouthpiece, ligature, reeds and molded hard case. Best of luck - but dono't expect much. Jen Arianna Frances
  2. awww - I feel so bad for the cute wittle bunny Jen Arianna Frances
  3. I used the "save for web" option in photoshop - lets me specify what size I need the pic to be... great tool! One of the only ones I use for te $700 the program costs Jen ...and nope, I didn't pay that... my work did Arianna Frances
  4. Ya, I agree! I'm going to send in the papers anyway. Hubby wants to buy the book (its his cat anyway), but I'll wait to see if it actually gets published first. I don't have anything to lose, so why not! Jen Arianna Frances
  5. Hey! It's not just a cat its the "TiSan-izer"!! He'll mesmerize you with how boring he can be Jen Arianna Frances
  6. doh.... ya... ok... so it sounds like a scam I guess. They want $59 for the book on the website Coincidentally picture.com - and yours was poetry.com Bummer Jen Arianna Frances
  7. Ya, I'm skeptical of that too.... but the book already has an ISBN number and the only part where they are asking for money is the little pamphlet included to buy previous books they've made. I'll buy it from amazon if it comes out though. Jen Arianna Frances
  8. I got a neat letter in the mail today from the international library of photography. I submitted a picture (see attached) of my cat for a contest they were having, and they sent me a letter saying I was a semi finalist in the animal/pet category and wanted me to sign a release stating the photo is my own work blah blah blah and give them permission to publish it in a coffee table book. I think thats cool! I doublt it will get to be a finalist, but if I win, I could get $1,000! The funniest part of it was that I took the picture with a borrowed camera. My work got a GREAT new Sony digital and I needed to show everyone how to use it, so I took it home for the weekend and took tons of pictures - with TiSan's being one of many. It's not a camera I would buy for myself (it records directly to mini disk so its a bulky camera) but it takes great pictures! I bet there are a million and one people getting this letter today, but I've never gotten it before so this is a pretty nifty thing! The letter had me laughing: "Jenifer, you should be genuinely proud of your accomplishment. We feel you have a special talent and look forward to the publication of your photograph in Endless Journey (working title)" Little do they know it was just luck... hehe Normally I cut people off at the head in my photos Just thought I'd share my good news
  9. The gaming companies can get all of that without piracy - they send free copies to all the gaming magazines to write reviews on, and of course have their beta testing kiddies that spread news quickly. But there is a code that goes along with that - you don't share the game because increased profits from sales ensure a future addition to the game. Jen Arianna Frances
  10. That kinda depends - what are you using the email address for - as a mailto: link for people to click and send an email or what? As far as I know, there is no way to do that and still make the link useable... thats why you see alot of people using something like: MyName"AT"email.com Jen Arianna Frances
  11. Hey thats cool! She does some really good work - has she tried to get published in the magazines yet? I've had four different layouts and 3 cards published this year in the various craft magazines - its quite the ego boost Children/grandchildren will really treasure her scrapbooks

  21. ooh ooh - more tequilla and food with people! Woo hoo!! Jen ya ya ya, I'm only taking a one second break mary - really Arianna Frances
  22. I would love to see the Red Sox win... having been born in Boston and all... but... I don't think it will happen, just cause its that close. It's a curse, literally. Now, as far as the yanks buying their championships - they may have the highest payroll, but Boston has the second highest. They'll lose tonight, but they'll pull through a good showing in the end. Just hope Pedro doesn't f*ck it up again 'daddy' tomorrow Jen Arianna Frances
