Why is it when you're injured, friends seem to disappear?

Only because I know abit about this... I'll be devils advocate... Give your friends the benefit of the doubt. It could be you are expecting too much from them. I lost my rights to drive for 6 months and got a bit upset when friends wouldn't be willing to drive me to the store or just 'out of the house' on weekends. I had to take a step back and realize that they had lives too and I was expecting too much from them. Sure they did that often for me, but every weekend was expecting a bit much. I didn't lose my friends per-say, but I did gain a new appreciation that friend ship can be a two way street. I know its hard when the chips are down, but its important to look at it from their point of view too. Don't try to push them away. Best of luck, Jen Arianna Frances -

I feel your pain! My car got rear ended twice within 3 weeks earlier this year. My husbands car (in my name) got rear ended and they totalled it - but only gave us $2k of the $3400 that was owed... so we're left holding the bag on the remainder and I just got a letter from the finance ppl saying that if I don't pay the remaining balance within 10 days that its going to collection. So let me get this straight... someone totals the car and it goes against my credit????!?!?!?! UGH!!!! Jen Arianna Frances
