yep - they bring that up and you're pretty much outta luck. I've already made promises to myself to not do that to any of my kids - I think they'll appreciate that Jennifer Arianna Frances

awww thanks But I must say, eye shadow looks best on you! I hope you lay a major guilt trip on your mom for that btw Jennifer Arianna Frances

ok, I'll jump. I've been super reluctant to post pictures on this site, but since this one is 25 years old, I figure its ok. I was cute! Dunno what happened tho Jennifer Arianna Frances

ha! frost huh? hehe, nothing compared to here - trust me. but I will give Fresno one thing. I have NEVER seen fog settle in quite like it does in Fresno... couldn't even see out the windows all day - open the door, can't seen 4 inches in front of you. I was amazed by it Jennifer Arianna Frances

omg - I would hate my mom for that! You're cute though! Jennifer Arianna Frances

hey me too! which would mean taking the day off work tomorrow... which I don't want to do. Saving those vacation and sick days for something much cooler Jennifer Arianna Frances

guess I'm lucky. Being cross-eyed (no, I don't look cross eyed, I just don't look out of both eyes at the same time) I never could do these things. can't miss what you've never known. Jennifer Arianna Frances

I wish I shared the same sentiment. I'm really getting tired of it, having grown up in new england. I spent a week in AZ this past fall and enjoyed it very much! It was such a change from new england. My husband is from Fresno, CA but loves winter and New England. I couldn't get him to leave for love or money. Me, I'd go with just the money part Jennifer Arianna Frances

aww - thanks! Hugs are really good! It will get better, thats for sure! A nice bottle of chianti and some kraft mac n' cheese are taking care of that Have a great night!

none of my friends are home - so I hope you guys don't mind me wasting space here. Today was not a good day. I think the winters here in New England are starting to get to me. The day starts very cold. Cold enough so that I couldn't get my car door open. So I get a ride to work. I arrive about 15 min. late only to find that the file I uploaded to the server last night didn't upload correctly, and the 8 am meeting it was needed for (this was told to me at 8:15 mind you), had to be rescheduled. Not looking like a good day. But alas, it continues. The 3 interns working under me have big projects due at the end of the month, and the pressure is definitely building. I think I sat at my desk to do 'my work' for all of 10 min. My boss is paging me and my pager doesn't work, and so she's running around nuts trying to find me. So I get 'yelled' at. Stay late to finish another presentation, upload it to the server, back it up on the laptop and make a CD. There is no way it won't be there for tomorrow. Get home... answering machine message from dad about my cell phone being off (ya, the stupid battery died for good this time) and he really needed to talk to me. My brother fell off the roof of a job he was on today - seems to be ok though. So I decided to put off driving the hour north to see him - because its starting to snow. Decide to go food shopping real quick, as the snow lessened - only to finish to blizzard conditions. So driving home (I live 5 min. away), my car, with its crappy tires, and even worse brakes, skids into a fence and brakes one of my headlights and scratches the front up pretty good. I stop shaking enough to drive home. Bringing the groceries into the house I slip on the snow and hit my head (just enough to knock some sense into me ). This sounds so freaking unbelieveable. How does all this happen in one day?? I'm tired and don't feel like finishing taking down the xmas tree, never mind put the groceries away. I can't get ahold of my husband (he's off with friends), my folks, or ANY of my friends this evening... I think they know I'm trying to reach them Its been a pretty f@$%ing bad day, and I'm feeling pretty low (ok, really low) - but I think PW will make me feel better.

I'm thinking the same thing! Wonder if its something that can be taught to all TM's? I'm sure I could get lots of my friends to go then! Jennifer *just think of the advertising slogans...* Arianna Frances

Sorry you are unhappy in your job - it sux, truely. When I was 19 (only 6 years ago) I had what I considered to be the worlds suxiest job. I was one of those annoying people who would call you in the middle of dinner and ask you to do a survey on bubble gum. I considered myself lucky if the people only hung up, becuase most of the time people swore at me and called me some of the worst things imaginable. So I can understand not being happy. You are only 19, and from some of the posts here saying you don't know what being unhappy is yet, well... thats bull. It doesn't matter how old you are - unhappy is relative to your experience, no one elses - and you're unhappy now (I would be too - sounds totally boring, and long days too). But looking on the bright side will help you get through it. Save what money you can and start looking for a new job - in the end if the job gets the best of you (as my job did) you can rely on the small bit of savings you have to get something new. Its not easy, but hang in there. Jennifer Arianna Frances

You know that running joke about how some people read the obituaries only to find if there is someone they know? I think I found someone I know. My great aunt Dorothy - my mothers aunt. I had even less to do with them than my mother did. It was strange that my fathers mother would call me to tell me that she saw my late grandfather mentioned in an obituary - and sure enough, its his sister. I didn't even know she existed. Strange things will happen today... And its my anniversary... Jennifer Arianna Frances

That is so cool! I got a sewing machine for Christmas, but am not as brave as you. We have a chain of fabric stores near me,and I plan on taking "Sewing 101" there before I attempt to sew anything. Good Luck! Did you find a pattern for the pants? Jennifer Arianna Frances

Same reasons here. I've dropped mine off the treadmill at the gym twice now, and it works fine. I have a $100 GC to compusa so I went to the store here in Warwick, RI. I was looking specifically for MMC cards - they don't carry any and were out of the 256 SD cards - so I went to the 'customer service desk' (must be an oxymoron) to ask about cashinging in the GC. Some snot nosed 16 year old (gosh, I sound like my dad) looked at me like I had 5 heads and explained how they could cash the card. Which is fine. I said "what if I buy something and then return it" - he says they put the money right back on the GC - which is ludicrous. THen he tried to compare their policy to Best Buys - which is crap, as I went through this with them when I returned the iRiver. I don't mind getting talked down to if its warranted or by someone who is older and wiser - but this kid was annoying the crap out of me. So... being the bitch that I am - I walked out while he was in mid sentence. Tomorrow I'll try another CompUsa - but they won't be getting my biz in the future. Those memory cards are super expensive though... I really wanted a 512 but they doubled the price of the 256. Oh well. Thanks for everyone's help! Much appreciated! Jennifer Arianna Frances

I was a music major at the university of north texas in 97, and music theory - ok, the aural skills part, was one of the reasons I didn 't stay Takes alot of skill and determination IMO - congrats for even being on the list! You've got this far you'll keep going, I just know it

ok, cats out the bag... my brother actually bought me the i-river 128 and I returned it to get this one. THe reason I did so was because this was expandable, where the irivers aren't. I really wanted an FM tuner and at least 128 which were the same features that the iriver had. THe only problem I have with this one so far is the headphones. Irivers phones rock! Great sound quality - these rio's are junk. I gotta invest in a good pair soon. Thanks so much for posting about hte memory card issue - good to know! Was that with just one particular card - or every card you tried? Just wondering if it was a player issue or a card issue. Thanks again!
