Okay, so I don't drink alone, but my husband is at the Charger game and my kids are wherever (last I heard from my daughter she was getting the SC football team drunk for the SC/UCLA game - she's a UCLA fan but friends with the SC coach). Yeah, Jeanne, I've been saying I'll go snowboarding when I can't jump, but then end up hangin at the DZ half the day waiting for the weather to clear and then it's too late to go snowboarding. Kim, one of the tunnel instructors at the Perris tunnel had her 3 year old daughter and her friend in the tunnel for her 3 year olds birthday. She'd told me about it ahead of time so I went and watched and it was THE cutest thing I've ever seen. At that young age the kids have no fear. And what was really cute was watching Destiny's reaction to her mom flying the tunnel, she was laughing and jumping up and down waving to her mom. Too cute!! Thanks so much everyone. I'm going to check everything out, probably buy everything and try it all out. Like I said money is no object, not that I'm rich or anything, just that it is worth any amount of money to me to be able to be warm and comfortable. I would absolutely hate staying on the ground cuz I'm too cold to jump, hasn't happened yet but I could see it coming if I don't get warm clothing. I'm just a total wuss when it comes to cold. I DO NOT DO COLD!!! Anyway, thank you all soooo much!!

Help!!! I hate to be cold. I have a tight fitting jumpsuit so can't wear anything bulky underneath. I've been wearing silk thermals, which were okay last year, but with the weather being so much colder this year I need something warmer. Heard underarmor is good, but there are so many different kinds. I tried on a mock turtleneck winter underarmor shirt (in my size and even a size larger), but didn't like it at all, would be warm but felt like it was too tight and the mock turtleneck felt like it was choking me. So what I am looking for is something that will be really warm, but also comfortable. I need to find something before the Eloy boogie. Please help!! Christmas Shopping...what to buy the person who has everything?

Dunno it this helps you, but it might. My husband has a huge family, 10 brothers and sisters, and 10 aunts and uncles and all their kids. And everyone gets together on Christmas Eve and exchanges presents. I try to find something I can get for everyone, not too expensive since I have to buy like 50 gifts. This year what I'm going to get everyone is a "cushi pillow". They sell them at the airports, they're a little pillow that is soooo comfortable and you can use it on planes, in the car or even on the couch at home when watching TV. They were $20 at the airport, but Nordstrom outlet has them for $10 and I'm thinking I can go online and find them for even less since I'd be able to buy in quantity (about 50). And it's something everyone could use and even if they have one they could always use a second one (keep one at home, one with their travel stuff). Hey Frenchie, I totally sympathize with you. I showed up at Elsinore Saturday morning and the clouds were comin in, could have maybe gotten in a hop and pop, but having one of those brandspankingslipperylikehell canopies decided I'll skip today and come back tomorrow when the weather is better. People don't expect people who are quiet to do things like skydive and drive fast cars...people are always saying to me "but you're so quiet, I'd have never imagined you racing around in a Vette and jumping out of planes" Yep, just goes to show, it's the quiet ones you've gotta watch out for . When I was a very new skydiver I came to work one Monday morning and a coworker asked me how my weekend was. I said "awesome, I did my first 3-way" and I went on to explain that I was used to solos or only one other person and that it was so much fun that we added another guy and did a 4-way, but that the guys were much more experienced and faster than me so I had to really work to keep up with them. By the time I finished my story I had a whole group of coworkers gathered around my desk. They were disappointed when they realized I was talking about skydiving . Our community has a day where you can bring things like light bulbs, batteries, computers, etc. to drop off. Check with your dept. of water and power, at least that is the dept. that regulates our stuff. Good luck, and good for you for being conscientious about disposing of your bulbs. Our new bengal kitten loves our dog (doxen/pom mix). They are best friends, but sometimes (pretty much constantly) the kitten terrorizes the dog, chases him around, jumps on his back, bites him. Luckily the dog is very gentle and puts up with it. Today we had the dog groomed and told the groomer to cut him short so that the kitten has less hair to grab onto. When I brought him home the kitten didn't recognize him, hissed and growled at him and kept her distance. It was hysterical. I was surprised though cuz I thought animals knew each other by smell. Congrats Gia!!! I wanna come too! I'm not a big gambler, but I do love hangin out with my good bud Keith who is the manager of the Vegas tunnel (the NICEST guy) and flying the Vegas tunnel (not Perris - but I still have lots of fun there).
