OMG, I am such a wuss. I only got 3 jumps, they were awesome, but only 3! I'm actually embarrased to post this...I just planned my trip wrong...was there the worst jumping days, had to leave before weather got good. Next year I'll plan to stay longer. But I had fun...had wonderful roommates - Alana, Justi, Bobby, Brandon, Hamed. You guys were great! Told you I'm a sound sleeper ... didn't even hear Bobby and Hamed fall out of their bunks! I purposely set out to gain weight after getting really frustrated with my fall rate (yeah, people told me it was a dumb idea but I didn't listen ). My plan was to gain the weight then lose it and put it on my rig once my new rig came in (with weight pockets). I've had my rig since October, but have yet to lose the 10 lbs. I gained. It was so easy to gain it, can't believe how hard it is to lose it. I'm going to start spending an extra hour at the gym each day and see if that works. I have very little willpower so it's hard to stay away from sweets . BUT...my plan did work and I am falling faster Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I was just talking to Dominic about you today - I don't know if we've ever been introduced to each other. Are you coming out this weekend? It's supposed to be nice tomorrow. I know Darlyd knows both of us, I'll make him introduce us. I was at Eloy, Sunday through Thursday afternoon. I was broke so I spent most of my daylight time reading a good book in the tent, hanging with the NorCal crowd and at the dz.com area or wandering around like a lost little child. LOL . Lisa I spent a lot of time hanging out reading a book. We should have been introduced sooner. Yeah I know Daryl and Dominick. But don't know when I'll be back to Perris. The plan was to head to Perris once I got home from Eloy, but with the weather being so shitty decided to stay home. My husband already went to bed, but set his alarm to go off at midnight. It still is! We are doing 3 plane formation loads at sunset every day and there have only been a couple of peeps out every time - awesome or what??? The RW organised loads are going really well - am not freeflying, so can't say, but am sure from all the smiles that they are as well. Lovin' it. Liz OMG, I am sooo jealous!!! It just dawned on me that I will be jumping at 3 DZ's next week...12/26 - 12/30 Eloy, 12/31 - 1/1 Perris, 1/2 Elsinore. How cool is that? Until a couple months ago I'd only ever jumped at Perris. Yes, I'm the same person who posted a thread about how scared I was to jump at a new DZ. Guess I'm overcoming my fear - thanks to other DZ.commers who offered encouragement (mucho thanks). Well, and also getting my own gear has given me the freedom to jump away from my home DZ. Anyway, I just realized this and thought it was kind of cool, so thought I'd post it. Well, like Bobby, I do drink beer, and often in large quantities, espescially when not limited by my wallet. I do believe I am still going to try to run with you....if for nothing else than to get me out of bed so I can go jump more. Like I said, just hit me with the shoe. /should be in bed Yay...a jogging buddie! I'll definately hit you with a shoe if that is what it takes to get you going, or maybe I could just shake you and say "it's time to get up and jog". Although I am very shy I am going to the Eloy boogie to meet friends from DZ.com. Love talking to people online and will love to meet people. So I will try to go up to people, but if I don't please come up to me. My avatar looks like me now, current one just taken last weekend. I'm really nervous about attending an event on my own where I won't know many people. Am confident though that fellow skydivers will make me feel welcome.
