    [reply On my first (BEER!) Pink Mafia Initiation jump a couple of weekends ago, it was Karl's (Elsi's DZO and pilot) birthday. He asked me to sit next to him for a while, so we could catch up. I returned to sit with the others at around 9000 and told the other jumpers. We all sang him happy birthday, and my PM Barbie flashed him. (She even had pink sparkles on her little plastic boobies.) Of course, Karl hoped/asked fora real flash, which none of us PM ladies (myself, Gia, Darcy or Evelyn) did; however, Barbie still got us extra altitude and a HUGE smile from our beloved Karl.

    Jury Duty

    I had to appear for jury duty today. Ended up just sitting in the jury room the entire day, but satisfied my jury duty obligation for the year. I was surprised to find that they had computers in the jury room for potential jurors to use. You had to pay to use them ($4/hr or $10/day) but still, how cool is that. Unfortunately I got there late and all the computers were taken, otherwise I could have spent the day on dz.com instead of reading my romance novel.     For our second child my husband brought the video camera and shot very tastefully from the back and side. I had a very easy short labor so it looked pretty easy. My husband showed the video to everyone from our parents to the priest who baptised our daughter and everyone was surprised at how easy it looked. Friends have since had babies and were pissed off at me saying "you made it look so f--ing easy, it wasn't." All I could say was, "camera angels". LOL.

    This was such a long post that I didn't read every post, but I think I look good naked for my age and compared to a lot of people younger (since I work out everyday and a lot of people don't). But I wouldn't want to compete in a naked contest.

    I would save my family and pets, then my rig. Funny that my rig is more important than family photos, buy it just is. I guess easier and lest costly to replace family photos than my rig. Hopefully other relatives have family photos, but they don't have my beloved rig.

    Yeah, I am totally doing this with his blessing. I just wish he was going cuz I'm so damned shy and he's so outgoing and if he was there I would know I'd meet people just hangin out with my husband, but the thought of meeting people on my own pretty much terrifies me.     I wouldn't feel guilty, especially since my husband is encouraging me to go. I'm a little disappointed that he didn't want to go, but know that he trusts me to go on my own. The reason I'd want my husband there is because I'm really shy and he's very outgoing. I met a lot of people at chicks rock that I wouldn't have met if my husband hadn't been there socializing with everyone. I'm very shy which makes going places without my husband hard.     We were at a birthday party and another friend had a birthday the day before. I gave her a birthday card and apologized for being a day late. She said no problem I do birthday week. My husband said Evelyn got to have birthday month for her 50th but now is down to birthday week. So I said, okay, birthday week, does that mean I can do what I want the week of my birthday and my husband said yes, absolutely. So I said okay I want to go to the Eloy boogie (my birthday is Jan. 2nd.). He said no problem, it's your birthday and you can do whatever you want. I had hoped my husband would get a group of golf buddies together and come, but he didn't, just told me to go and have fun. So now I am wondering if I should go.     Family is family regardless. You can't just look at what they've done for you. My family is fairly wealthy but I haven't benefited from it. My parents bought homes for my sister, brother and niece, but they figure my husband and I are okay financially do don't offer to do anything for us. I kind of resent that they bought homes for them, but don't do anything for us. But I love them anyway. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller
