  2. Hey twit, maybe that is because he was responding to Kallend, not you. Plus I haven't seen anything relevant in your post.
  3. This would fall under the category heading of "you don't know what you don't know". BTW, why do you make such a big leap to assume that someone jumping a square canopy is automatically learning bad habits just because they are jumping a square canopy? If you are practicing bad habits on ANY canopy, that would be your fault, not the canopy.
  4. He didn't say it would be the same person.
  5. I love Brits for their lack of reading comprehension.
  6. Thats what he just said... You're looking at the right spot, and I believe it is 25 statute miles That's what they just said.
  7. I'm sorry that your understanding of government is too limited to understand that, "State" means any level of government. Nice back peddle.
  8. I did what I felt was right at the time With more experience you would not only know that this was a bad decision but it would have also NOT felt right. It worked out for you in this instance but getting away with making a bad decision does not make it right.
  9. If you don't trust yourself for the important things you may not want to be skydiving. What happens when your radio fails?
  10. You might not be leaving enough length of line between your last stow and the risers...? Initially bringing them up and together on deployment (like a pyramid over your head) slapping the side of your neck. Which side of the d-bag is your last stow on??? Your sig line disclaimer does seem to be true.
  11. Do you think the SC made the correct or incorrect decision for the matter of the second amendment? You seem willing to give your opinion here(whether it matters or not) but you are unwilling to give an answer in the other thread. If I remember correctly you chose not to state your opinion in the other thread because you said your opinion didn't mater. Although your opinion still doesn't matter you seem give it here quite freely. Kallend, can't answer? Asked and answered previously. Timmyfitz can't read? Just as I expected. You didn't answer the question, even though you say you did. Just more redirection. Same MO as always.

  13. Incorrect. Spoons, forks and knives cause obesity.
  14. Just let him go. It make him feel good that he thinks he is changing the world by posting on some obscure website as opposed to actually working to make a change.

  16. You were blinded by the stupicity? Dropzone have always been know to be an enclave of intelligent thought. That is were you will find most Mensa members. I think some of that North Carolina stupicity has rubbed off on you.
  17. He is unable to back up his claim but he certainly is not going to admit to it.
  18. Hitler, Pol Pot and the rest had guts, you've made no valid point; guts w/o compassion and intelligence is meaningless. Way to debate the words in the post and not make some emotionally charged nonsensical reply......Oh wait, I think I got that backwards.
  19. Yes that would be beer. And don't forget the rigger, you owe him/her something too. Yes, you owe your rigger the amount of money it cost to repack the reserve.
  20. I believe he is referring to AFF as being the initial 7 or 8 jumps you do in your training, which is correct. After the AFF jumps are complete then you become a self supervised solo student jumper(or coach jumps). You still must do several solo and coach jumps before receiving your A license.
  21. I would like to be able to take you seriously
  22. The picture in post #1 was not a shuttle launch.
  23. OK, I'll do the maths. A couple of hundred skydivers in New Zealand= about 200 skydivers. OVER 100,000 tandems per year. If every skydiver in New Zealand is a TI, that would be 500 jumps per instructor per year. Not hard to do but I doubt every skydiver in New Zealand is a TI. New Zealand has a population of a little over 4 million people. Los Angeles and surrounding areas(Orange county, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Ventura) have a population that far exceeds New Zealand and I doubt they are exceeding 100,000 tandems per year by much. The math doesn't seem to work out.
  24. I hope so. That's what you have been jumping as a student.
