No, what's nuts is the snow angel I made. Or maybe I'm nuts for lying down in three inches of freezing snow wearing nothing but shorts. Either way, after that I think I'm ready for winter jumps... as long as there's a hot tub waiting for me.

Respect and admiration from your peers?

Although you're a good guesser Clay, I'll have to keep those pictures, uh, [disclaimer] if indeed such pictures do exist [/disclaimer], to myself. If two people know something, it's not a secret. And that definitely applies to pictures on the Internet.

Screw shoveling the walk or salting the driveway, this is how I'm coping with the Colorado snow that got a REALLY long spot from Mother Nature. I guess I haven't gotten that visit to Florida out of my system yet...

Pop Quiz Who knows what "DOUBLE Coyote Ugly" means?

Whoa, awesome. Next year I'm definitely going to be actually competing at collegiates, instead of just spectating. So there's no rain check on the ATV jump?
-
That's okay Clay, now that your profile pic is up we can recognize you by the tits, er... nevermind. We'll know it's you.

I've got some good pictures of it on my computer at school; when I get back Sunday I'll post them and we can count the number of different paint schemes visible. Somebody send me an e-mail this weekend to remind me, I'm sure I'll forget by then.

The DZ.com Secret Handshake (not much of a secret now that I've posted it): put your right hand out and twitch your fingers like you're clicking a mouse button. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

You know you've been posting too long when......

You hear that someone loses his/her job and you think "Cool, now they can post more!!" I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !! -
I hear that. At my last job, tech support for a paper-pushing office, one of the other techs and I were making fun of people in the office and he said the truest words ever spoken: "All that people here do is eat and bitch." I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

*raises hand* Oooh! Me! Me!! I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !! EDIT: P.S. Next time you're at Delmarva, please thank Carrie, er, was it Callie...? She's tall and blond.. I think she's a paramedic or doctor or nurse or otherwise employed in medicine... anyway, when I was at Delmarva she helped me out with my injections and even came out early one day so that if I broke a leg or something, someone who knew how to administer my meds was on hand. Tell her Dan is supremely grateful!!

1. Stop believing that just because the calendar flips over, I am somehow granted extra willpower. 2. Jump more. 3. Get a haircut. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

Direct Connect is your friend... we could establish a DZ.com hub and turn this into a warez site!! Seriously, DC is very lacking in broad search abilities, but if you want to exchange files with just a few people it's the best way. http://www.neo-modus.com, I think. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

Hey folks, ever wondered if there was a skydiving newsgroup other than wreckdot? Well, according to your friendly neighborhood Google Search™... http://groups.google.com/groups?q=group:*skydiving*++-rec.skydiving&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search I used to think the possibilities for the internet were endless. Now I know it's all nothing but porn spam. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

Jeez Pammi, you must not have had a younger brother. Exactly what they're after. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

Don't know the results, but I met a bunch of the Aggies and they heaped me with advice on organizing and running a club. Chuck is the only one whose name I remember but I met quite a few more... tell them all thanks for the advice! (And the beer too!) I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

Agreed. Florida was kickass, despite not getting any jumps in. I nearly broke a sweat two days in a row there, and now I'm home in SC and it's snowing. Not just our usual half hour of sleet, either - this is real Buffalo, NY snow that got lost and ended up way south of its intended destination. WTF!? As for DZ.com'ers, I saw Kelly (Froggie) at Z-Hills, and I met a Brittany who may or may not be "THE Brittany" but didn't have a chance to ask her. I had a great time in FL and was impressed with both DZs I visited. I'll have to bring my rig along next time. I also got a lot of good advice from the Texas A&M club members on how to deal with the administration when I start a club at school this semester (thanks guys!). I'll definitely go to collegiates for the whole gig next year, no matter where it is. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

CAUTION: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME (so they say...)
PalmettoTiger replied to krispy's topic in The Bonfire
just as an FYI, if you click on a picture link and get a "permission denied" message, drag the Internet Explorer icon from the location bar and drop it into the page window just below it, as if you're making a shortcut. It should work if they're screening visitors based on the referring URLs (if you don't know what that means just smile and nod and ignore it -
I'm leaving for Tampa in six or seven hours... I'll be at Lake Wales late Sunday evening and all of Monday (New Year's Eve)... if you want to find me, look for this guy wearing a bright orange shirt and moping because his rig is all the way back in New Jersey... I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

We opened our gifts tonight since we're flying up to IL to spend the holidays with mom's side of the family and didn't want to bring all the presents along. I got some schweet presents! A Visor Edge PDA, big comfortable wireless headphones, a few books, and a BRAND NEW EXPEDITION!! WOW!! OH MY GOD!! Now, instead of working on my political theory final paper like I promised myself, I get to spend the flight and the next few days frobbing with my PDA. \m/ CHRISTMAS!!! \m/ Okay, I know: none of that is skydiving gear. But "Santa" is not completely comfortable with leaving aircraft before they land, so before you start ribbing me about asking for a PDA instead of a helmet or jumpsuit, just think of it this way: not having to buy any of this allows me to spend money on skydiving gear instead! < !!

programming it for the Palm OS, or whatever the most popular handheld in Belgium is, would be a good idea, since you could enter data into your handheld between jumps but not your desktop computer. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

I think I'm a 2. When I owe I buy Killian's, Rolling Rock, Heineken, or something along those lines. If people want a light beer, they can fill a cup halfway with water, fill it the rest of the way with some good stuff, and swirl it around a little. That's pretty much how they do it in the breweries. Since everyone's sharing their beer humor... the classic line from Monty Python (although I doubt they came up with it): "American beer is like making love in a canoe. They're both fucking close to water." And as for Corona... I have moral objections to beer that you have to put fruit into before it tastes good. It's as if they did some market research, and said "Jefe, this is no good. People say our beer tastes like horse piss. What can we do?" "I have the solution. Tell the gringos they must cut up fruit and mix it with the beer. Make them think it's a tradition in the Caribbean. Those dopes will believe anything as long as the commercial includes tropical islands and half-naked señoritas!" if you want to go high-tech check out UnderArmor. Never tried it myself but I saw someone mention it a while ago and it looks interesting. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!

Bloom County fans may be interested in this: it's possible they will make a Bloom County movie. I wanted to put some really inspiring lyrics here but none of them fit. >< !!
