  1. Oh absolutely - I likely think about the spay thing every week. In the first place (you covered it already) In the second place - where I lived before I bought the Skydivers Scantuary, I was the feral fairy. I would sneak around and capture the feral kittens. At the same time I fed and captured MORE than 20 adults that roamed around. It was a full time evening job. One cat had her litter on my door step. Yikes. I couldnt snuff them out/and I couldnt save them. I really tired. I raised 17 from bottles and tamed them. ONce I had to take 4 on vacation with me. I have never had females of anything before. Hence, I had no experience with that first litter. Whoo Hoo, I was on the phone to Levin after every one showed up. (he was at dz) Levins cat is seriously old. On the last litter I helped out with extra nutrition. I will do that again for the 6 pack here now. Even though she is seriously old, I will have our buddy surgically altered. We talked about it yesterday and Levin hopes it doesnt stop her from attacking dogs. Hey Viking- I have been around, Just kinda quiet. I miss you buddy!! Oh, and if I can have a 160 lb Great Dane, you can have a kitten. Gramps just taught your dog to attack all cats. You can teach it to NOT attack just one. Miss Cleo crawls all over all the dogs. Only Olav Zipster will mash her into the ground. But then she yells for help and FleaFlyer will come. Hey Skycat- I really miss you. I had a hallucination at Waller yesterday. I guess I just really wished it was you. When did you send that canopy? That girl wont jump with anything else or something. I dont know. Havent seen much of her. Or MonkeyBritches. Well, I did ysee him yesterday at the dz. Whoa - my turn in the shower. Thanks for all the info. But it is cool. Oscar will be squared away soon. Sans reproductive ability. She is very old. I hope it will be ok. Later skybro and sistahs- ~AirAnn~
  2. A short story- Here at my house, I am sure you all know by now, Is Levin Jackson, Bryan Moffett, myself, and Daniel Chisolm. All skydivers. Complete with slight drama only a reality based tv series producer would love. Its somewhat like a functional family deal here. Brothers and Sisters, we dont fight, we love each other, we watch all our skydiving films and whats for dinner. Then 3 dogs = Skeet the Great Dane, Flea Flyer -Toy Rat Terrier, Olav Zipster - a Shih Tzu. Then Miss Cleo, kitten. Then Outside Oscar - Levins Cat.... Well, I just made a run to the SPCA with the last Jackson 5 kittens, like 2 weeks ago.... It was terrible, I hated to see them go. Daniel couldnt deal at all and stayed in the car. Levin kept saying they were Walking the Green Mile. Or they were to get a sponge put on their shaved heads and then electricity. "Dead cat walking", That went on for weeks prolonging my trip to the SPCA. I kept being very much too busy to go for some reason. They were about 4 months old. SO Sweet and darling. They now live (I am sure of it) in wonderful homes. (Jackson 5 litter = Aggie Dave, Jessica, Phreezone, Goat and Sister. ) The other day I said to Levin.... Oscar looks fat - she is preggers... Of course next is Levins standard Line- No she isnt!! - She just ate, she is FAT. (I have heard this like 6 times) The first & second time I believed him. And then kittens fell out all over the place.... At first all of them were red. I had no experience with offspring of anykind. Anyway..... Yesterday, we are all sitting around working on skydiving video editing for Levins new website Freeflyers.com and .... Bored... I said "Anybody seen Oscar lately?" Levin: "Not today" Daniel: "I saw her today with a dead rat coming towards the house in the middle of the street..." Ann: Laughing "A dead RAT???" Laughing Levin: Laughing Daniel: "Yeah, she was carring a dead RAT across the street and coming towards the house. A minute goes by- ....... Ann: "...WAIT..... A DEAD RAT?????? Huh..... HOLD IT...." Ann runs out of the house..... 30 seconds later.... A yell comes from the garage... L E V I N !!!!!! Levin comes into the garage..... Ann: "Levin - Look at Oscar - she is skinny - there are kittens in here somewhere, I know it..." Levin: "No there isnt. She just hasnt eaten today. Boy, she looks hungry too." (smiling) Ann looks under her tanning bed... and find a SIX pack of little fuzzies. Little darling kitties.... Oh my God how cute!!!!.... My giant bathroom is now transformed into the kitty nursery, again. Skeet is now not crossing the line anymore into my bathroom. He remembers the last time he was assaulted. Levins cat attacks dogs on a real regular basis. Peachy. Levin keeps wanting to get it on film. A great dane with a cat velcroed to his side. All four paws and claws stuck in Skeets chest .... Uh, NO.... Skeet dosnt need to relive that trauma. Here we go again....... ps: Ramon is going fishing today... Levin suggested we call him before he goes to see if he needed some BAIT. THAT is SO wrong. Bad Levin!!! By the Way - in 6 weeks - Does anyone want a sweetie little kitty? I trian them really well and they are all spoiled rotten. ~AirAnn~
  3. Whoa- Speaking of... I have been thru this already. My little cat - Miss Cleo, was going to go... It goes like this.... .....a clear liter bottle from a soft drink. Something soft inside glued to the bottom. Place feline inside and go skydiving.... Works for kittens. If you have a 20 lbs cat like Slappie... You are on your own. ~AirAnn~
  4. I dont know how many DZ's are on the Islands, but - do you know Eric Butts? I am fairly certain he was there for a while. He is here in Texas now. He promises to stick around long enough to teach me to land properly. That should take a pretty good while. ~AirAnn~
  5. Get the hell- OUT!!! Unbelieveable. I had to read this post at least 3 times to make sure my eyes were still working. I am thrilled for Tami. And I am just wondering if Ole Scotty didnt have a blow to the head recently. Its a wonderful thing. Those two are soul mates - definately - . If I ever saw two people who could read each other. Its those two. They work and live like one person. This news just makes my year. Id love to send words of Ultra Congradulations and more. If anyone sees them around pass it along. Attached is a foto of we 3 amigos. Thanks, ~AirAnn~

Well, I dont think you look like an ass. Ok, ....maybe that one on Winnie the Pooh. That blue donkey. Now, I assume you might look like him. He looks very tired all the time. Everyone will look forward to your return to coaching. And I am real sorry for everything. I guess I am just tired as well. I still think you are a great guy. But I say what I think. I didnt say what I think is perfect. I am certainly not perfect. I saw footage of your landing and thank god I didnt see it in person. I would have had a heartattack. As far as crash landing footage goes, -and I know a lot about this-, the grass flying around in focus is a very nice touch. Much better than my tree or shrubbery landing the other day. I missed getting the leaves on the tree in focus. Darn it. Well, there are not many do overs in skydiving. You get what you get. Have a good day. And look on the bright side. It might rain this weekend... ? Love and kisses- Your Mom. BTW- I love you, if you are tired or not. Even when you are fed up with me. Even if you look like a little blue donkey. And even when you gripe me out. I still love you, you are part of my family. Like it or not. Lozer. ! ~AirAnn~

    jumper burnt out

*** I am not looking foward to going back to the DZ this weekend. I have to go and load organize, coach etc....*** This is not exactly what a local jumper wants to hear about a new coach at a new Freefly school that just opened some 4 weeks ago. I sure hope Levin can hold up. He has been helping jumpers his whole skydiving life. I am glad his efforts started a nice school. Any FOL's Friends of Levins who can give Ramon a break and help Levin coach - Send a note on any available weekend days so he wont have to do it all by himself. I will call in some favors from some hot shots I know. I'd do anything to help Levin - but I cant coach, I dont think. ~AirAnn~
  13. A certain person did hit Levins tube before. It was Levins boyfriend. He loves him so much that he flew, sittin, thru his tube. Enuff said. hehe... So anyway, Levin lived thru that love nudge. Plus he has jumped with me loads of times when I sucked. So it cant be much worse than any of that. You have to put jumps in between screw ups, miscalculations and biffs. Its the only way to live thru it. Everyone has a story of that one jump that was rough. Everyone. Or else they havent been jumping for very long. Big ways are not to be taken lightly. They are dangerous as hell. Each time a jumper is added on the jump the matrix gets weird. Then you have Tube people can not track away much. So everyone has to leave that base and exactly when they are supposed to. (As they should) In this case you had to watch for 2 of those Tube people. Plus whoever else is out there trackin off. Track off on a big way is important so everyone can get separation, for one. You cant dirt dive a track off position. Its in this situation that "head on a swivel" comes into place in a BigWay, so to speak. You must be Sharp, Sharp and Sharper. This event will separate the good bad and ugly. And tell you who will be invited back or not. I have been asked to join big ways and I have joined in many times -when I am in good form and my abilities have been in top shape. I have also declined when I am in good form. I wont go if I am rusty, feeling tired, mental or otherwise not in tip top shape. Or even if I dont know whats up. I dont have to have a distinct reason to decline. I have changed my mind just before the door and while in the aircraft. Maybe I didnt feel good about the exit. Or some guy said something I didnt understand or know about on the plane. Bingo - I am off the dive. Its all split second stuff. Sometimes splits of split second thinking is needed. I also wont go if there is someone I dont know. I can not anticipate that persons flying. Good or Bad. The persons I will fly with are well known to me. Either by flight or by film. Usually both. I can pick out any of the persons I fly regularly with by a quick glance and know whether or not I need to deal with them or not. Even against a sunset and all I have is a silouette. Its the way they fly. Everyone is different. You should see Eric Butts. HD. He looks like King Tut upside down. You know, Walk like an Egiptchun.... (film) Funny as hell. The most solid sit I have seen in a long time as well. Levin has this leg thing going on and he moves slow but fast into his slot. Bryan has wiggle worm legs, yet a stable upper body. He moves very quickly into his slot. He looks kinda like Tinkerbell upside down. Ramon has distinctive movements, yet highly predictable if you watch his face. Now put all that together in a big way and I'd watch Ramon. Mainly because I would be base and Ramon films good. Yet I'd keep a sharp eye out for Tinkerbell, he will zoom ya, Smiley face, Spock, Peace sign and then zoom off to the side. This is just my prediction of a forthcoming jump I need for something I am doing for the Homie Home Page. A word about prediction. Prediction or Dirt Dive. Take your pick. You dirt dive it. You plan it. But it likely wont go that way, Exactly. When you can predict or estimate your skypartners movements or flight IN Flight, then you might have a good big way. Otherwise, I say, and I am not anywhere near these persons level, stay back and on the outside. That way -for me- I am safe and so are my partners. As far as I can predict. I feel really strong about this thing: I personally dont like to jump with people when I am working on something. Like lately, I have had my training wheels on. Yet, some people will try and Klingon your jump. But its for their own safety that I try and tell them to bug off. And besides I dont want to worry about their happy asses. If I flail all over hells half acre then its my waste of film and nobody gets hurt. Besides, Tube jumper #1 and Tube jumper #2 only wanted pretty pictures of themselves in the first place. But, I AM good like that, with film. .......Sometimes. For an amateur, that is.
  14. The bulls eye on top of the new building? Cool.... I better keep my helmet on during this contest, while on the ground. I bet one goes in the swimming pool. ($5) ~AirAnn~
  15. Then the entire dropzone is in violation of the Susan only law. Oops... Blame Eric and Ramon. ~AirAnn~
  16. RAMON = L O Z E R ps. My kids (Skeet, Fea, and Zipster) ARE well-behaved. They are just free-spirits. Zipster barks at you because he is a good judge of character. And another thing..... I knew about Levins #s, Lozer. I have had tons of silly string for months. But I had to work that day, Lozer. ~AirAnn~
  17. Some tv people are looking for a place to film a reality show. -Yet another one- Thinking my house??- What with a Great Dane = Skeet, Mini-Rat Terrier = Flea Flyer, and a Shih Tzu = Olav Zipster. Then the kitten = Ms Cleo, the Voodoo Princess. Oh yeah, Levin, Bryan Muffin, Dan from Georgia and myself. The life and times of 3 freeflyers and 1 RW guy. Plus the occasional drop in of other skydivers. Nah, Way too much for prime time.... Besides, at night all we ever do is watch our films. Mostly films of Levin shooting his own landings over and over and over.... But its always interesting to see how much the grass has grown. Right Ramon? ~AirAnn~
  18. Why? Because he was yelling at Bryan? Pic Compliments of Skydive Houston ~AirAnn~
  19. Someone said he already did it....... Guess I wasnt paying attention. Twilight zone. ~AirAnn~
  20. (cc: FreakFlying) Levin Jackson of Skydive Houston/Skydive Spaceland made his first base jump a few days back and in a few hours/days he will be making his 1000th jump. So let us review- 1st Base= Beer 1000th jump= Pie 1st Pie= Beer Thank you for your careful consideration in this matter of upmost importance. Reward given for film footage. ~AirAnn~

  22. Put on your helmet and send us some footage!! Much love sent from here in Texas to across the pond to you and the McDave Clan. Many congradulations. Work on 3 more while you arent doing anything and get a four way team going. ~AirAnn~
  23. Ditto on that, SkyDolphin - CoHo- Let us know where you are and I (we) can send you some names. And about how many jumps do you have? You can PM me. Or its Ann@AirAnn.com There are tons of folks out there who will jump with you. No 'coach' fee or group to sign up with or meet at a special time. None of that crap. Just plain old fashioned skydiver to skydiver fun. These people dont advertise. You just have to know who they are. Funny you should mention -Mentor-. I have a Mentor Program thru AirAnn.com. My site is rather down right now but the program exists. I have helped folks from all over. I pair low # skydivers with experienced ones. One on one. It works really well. ~AirAnn~
