Thanks for the answers, looks like nothing can really be bought of the shelf and just work flawles and safe. Cam buckles seem rather unreliable never liked them on paragliders. Speedbar sounds like a good and rather safe possible solution. I will put some more thought into this. Thanks If it does not cost anything you are the product.

Hello, i am looking for a source that makes trimable risers. The intention is to give the canopy more speed and descend without having to use front risers all the time, i would like to keep a higher descent rate on my canopy because it tends to be to be shallow for mountain swooping. I have uses something simmilar in Paragliding but haven't seen it for skydiving canopies, but i know they are available. Any hints? If it does not cost anything you are the product.

If you go to their FAQ page you will also find the cost for a windtunnel project to be between 3.5 and 6.5 Million. You can do the math from there but you will need to make a ton of assumptions. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

Indoor skydiving Germany has some data on Energy consuption on their webpage. http://www.isg-group.de/en/products-services/tunnel-products/ So if you are running their medium sized tunnel you would nee 400KW for an hour, you need 400kwh. A good commercial price for electricity in Germany is probably 20cent/kwh so you would be looking at 80€/hours energy cost . Does that help? If it does not cost anything you are the product.

I believe that was a skydiving related question, so my answer would be ruber bands, smoke canisters and any kind of battery. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

My Pro Dytter that i bought used has been working for years. My Neputne has died 2 times and was exchanged by alti-2, now the display stops working on the last couple lines. The audible function also sometimes fails on the swoop alarms. My mechanical FT-50 now has 15 years, 1300+ jjumps and lots of draging around and dropping on the floor but works fine. This is the only part of my skydiving gear that still works like on the first day. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

I am looking to buy a jumpsuit and asking myself where they are made. Sweatshops in Asia like the rest of our clothes or somewhere else? Does anybody where a specific manufacturer makes its jumpsuits? Franco If it does not cost anything you are the product.

I voted for two, but the very important part is to only do it if can be done reasonably safely. That means the group should not be too big and the plan should be well withing their ability and a few other things. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

And? I am happy with the setup. Just added FPV this week. I was not happy using the GoPro without a Gimbal, main reason is that the drone tilts too much and ruins the video. Not an issue when you only take pictures though. Your are not going to need the samsung tablet for anything relating to drones. Steering with WiFi and a tablet like with some of the (old?) Parrot drones is not really much fun because of the limited range. Using it as an FPV Monitor has too much delay. The GoPro is usefull for the drone, but if it is only for flying drones then therer may be better options. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

My comment was not directed at you, but at the guy who destroys something that required a lot of resources to produce just to show the world what an idiot he is. He also wasn't very creative in the process. If it does not cost anything you are the product.

European Sky/Bike road Trip ( DZ Recommendations Required)
FrancoR replied to jonny.q's topic in Events & Places to Jump
If you manage to be in Switzerland for the Mountain Gravity Boogie you should be there: http://www.mountaingravity.ch/ Sometimes the Pink skyvan is also flying in the Alps: http://www.pink.at/ Radfeld and Zell am See are the two DZ in the Alps for the Pink skyvan as far as i know. Both places only operate when the skyvan is there. In Italy i would visit www.skydivefano.com/ they usually jump during the week when a group form New Zeland ist there or if we are there.
