  1. James was very careful to make sure the exit was rehearsed...and in a relaxed kinda way that he thought no one would notice....was putting people in the 'right' exit slot dependant on ability and experience. I remember brushing someones arm on exit once ....and a very hazy recollection of holding another mans hand on exit ..but other than that I found a gainer exit out of a skyvan to be a much more 'consistant' exit than most....even dare I say it a 'float' exit....at least I dont have to shuffle backwards and risk tripping...as well as being able to delay the exit a little bit if I saw someone ahead of me having a big issue with their exit.
  2. I think he's lent them to Robi....not much chance of getting them back, I wouldnt argue with a P.I.M.P. looking just 'dat good ... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=82089;
  3. Not strictly wingsuiting...but thought Id share my friends first few flights in the PF Tracking Suit.....or the 'fun bullet' as we call it know...
  4. Far too much of me holding hands with Uncle Charlie.... I will get my revenge ! or maybe I already did....my hackey needed a little 'grip assistance' for most of those jumps......I hope you washed your hands before dinner UC ! Sweet video....very nice and stunning, stunning cam angles
  5. Nethers has a good set of flockers ...shame you missed the Easter Wingsuit Boogie there... We had Skyvan, Caravan.....load organising by James B .. (the drive there from London is nicer too ....)
  6. I got a chance to do some skydiving jumps on my 2007 PF tracking suit the weekend just gone and all I can say is ...wow ! I was having a really tough time flying my phantom wingsuit well in the flock....( speed up guys

  9. My suit arrived today ! Build quality looks great, its comfy and fits well..I'm happy...shame I dont get to fly it for a week or so though.... The 'blue steel' expression though...hmm, needs work

If the report has any truth..maybe its the one who was sacked , because of the jump.. Thats fair enough I think....he loses his job because of BASE'rs so makes a bit of money out of you.
  11. Perhaps that was the inspiration for your last shot then ?....the Michael Jackson crotch grab is a professional additional manouvre, but executed poorly.. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=80694; Carry on......
  12. The obligatory ankle 'twist out' in that picture is both informative and gay ...all at the same time...just thought I'd point out that observation. That is all..carry on...
  13. Very Nice JDam ! maybe some actual video footage of those moves would be cool to see as well.. ( feel free to use any footage you have of me in normal flight, to demonstrate the 'lower your upper legs' bit... )
  14. Stuck in a jail cell...yes it is For the lifetime of a camera bracket lock ...nope
  15. Ditto....after selling on my Flatlock as it didnt fit (my fault for 'assuming' the base plate would fit ) Got a goldmember and was fitted within minutes without having to use shims/braces/additional mounting brackets etc etc
  16. Its definately more field replaceable than any metal/spring locking assembly....but again its my opinion that the metal pin locking assembly is less prone to wear related failure than a 'piece of rubber'
  17. No....My OPINION Its a bit rude to quote me , and then change the wording in that quote to suit yourself...
  18. Make sure you have enough room for the 'footprint' of the base plate. I had to sell mine on as it was too big for the top of my FF2 helmet. I wasnt overjoyed with the Quick release system either......not sure about the longevity of that rubber seal over a long period of time... Just my opinion.
  19. Lol.....that about sums it all up for me.
  20. If thats where I think then you are below a UHF transmitter 'stinger' .....so I'd expect it to be pretty high...? Is there anything 'worse' than a stinger in terms of that type of radiation..? Are 'Radomes' /Radar / Microwave transmitters any worse ....any better..? Or is it all down to the transmitted direction and strength of radiation..?

    Jump to work?

    Thats a stunning pic Micke....
  22. Absolutely not There is loads of information archived just waiting for you to search through.....if you have the right questions to ask. Have a question...? Search for previous incarnations....if nothing answers that...post a new thread. Learn who the 'derka derka dorks' are and who people are who will give you an informative web reply..(there are equal numbers on both sides) Beware as there are many who will claim to be the latter , but without the obvious warning signs of the former ( midgets, drug , cocaine etc etc) Thats your work to do.....take the sensible information your are given and then go do some more research on it.....and hopefully you will find answers to your questions.

    #108 - ?????????

Moritz....this is truly a tragic story I only read about it today It struck me as one of the most horrific and sad stories on the list.....he actually made it back to his car but by the sounds of it bled to death Horrible that guy was on his own at this time but actually 'fought' to get back to where he thought he was safe/could escape.. I think that showed a great survival instinct and is worthy of alot of respect Its such a sad thing to read...sincere condolances to his family and friends
  24. I'm assuming the camera is forward facing on the mount for the rest of the skydive.... Coming in with landing in order to centre the shot must mean yoyr cam flyers head is pointed left or right... As the shot is sweeet ie tandem pair in frame all the time...your cam guy must also be using his peripheral vision only to spot his own airspace/landing/ obstacles on the ground. Not saying that cant be done safely.....just saying it ups the stakes a little Thats what I was inferring in terms of ....'other things might happen' I agree its a refreshing and original angle on the usuals...
