Pepper spray, indirectly when a police officer decided it would be funny to spray a dog that was tied up and hassling people that got too close to the truck he (the dog) was guarding...instead of just leaving the dog be and warning people to stay away from the truck. The blast went up in a cloud and right into my face. Took me about 30 minutes to recover from that indirect contact. Interesting side note, the company that managed that land complained and that officer was not seen in that area again. Usually I wait until after the guy everyone hates goes in there, and then I funk it up a notch and walk out claiming his by-products nearly killed ME. Broke my coccyx and had to ride on the floor of a Porter for a couple weeks. I learned the fine art of sitting on my hands to help elevate my broken arse. Yeah, that's my plan, to jump with one of our DZ's freeflyers who really knows what he's doing. I've been pestering him for tips, and he's been quite helpful with his advice. You're right, however, that I need to have him jump with me and watch me jump to see what I'm doing wrong. Have to agree with you there. Jeff Buckley's version does me in ten times faster than Wainwright's or Cohen's. Go to http://www.skydivebang.com/skyvideo.htm to see the videos. I know they are big, but most of them are worth it. Yeah, Like Kele said, don't worry about it. I worked at a big law firm once and I found that, except for the new associates who are running their asses ragged trying to please the partners, attorneys tend to be a rather stodgy bunch. Humor is a rare commodity with that bunch. I raised a baby magpie that fell out of his nest, and taught him how to fend for himself, instead of keeping him dependent on me. He would fly around the neighborhood and come to me when I whistled to him. Eventually, he flew off to be with other magpies. He was the COOLEST animal friend I ever had...if you don't count the time I spent training big cats (lions, pumas, leopards, tigers).
