that's a tough question. Every new dropzone I've been to, everyone has always been nice, and friendly. Although DZs have different vibes, everyone always seems to be nice.

I'm just starting to get into it. I just did my first CReW jump the other day, and I figured maybe just temporarily to get one, eventually getting a lightning for CReW if i really get into it. Thanks for the advice.

Hey all, currently i'm looking at the possibility of selling my sabre for a triathlon because i just recently discovered the wonders of CRW. I was wondering if anyone has any experience jumping triathlons for crw work, and how they perform for freefall. Thanks a bunch. It was an interesting 100th jump. I did a naked cross country jump. I still owe beer for that too, but since it was the halloweend party that evening, I opted not to buy the caseS i owe. Was leaving Cavu the right move? Meaning: did you manage to get some jumps in sunday?

Scott Miller's class is definitly the way to go! Since i got my license later this season, i missed out on it at the ranch, but i ended up taking it at Sky's the Limit. If you can't make it at the ranch, check out other DZs that may be somewhat close for you (or even if it's a little farther away, but not too far) to take it another weekend. It helped me so incredibly much that i'm planning on going to his DZ for some one on one instructions. That same instructor told me that when I graduated. Usually when i see him on the plane, i always say it back to him... That, and I always ask him if his cypress is on, on one of our jumps, he forgot to turn it on, I didn't find out about it til, we were in the plane. Just ask him if he needs a gear check, and ask about his cypress. CONGRATULATIONS!! You're almost there. For me, i was MOST nervous about the hop and pop jump. It definitly made me most nervous, but there's nothing to be nervous about. Just jump, and arch, pull 5 seconds, and no problem.

Congrats on your 100th. I hit mine this weekend also. I'm sorry that circumstances weren't the greatest, but it's a great feeling. Sometimes it's nice to do a solo, must have been great being the only one on the plane, eh? That's not cool. I'm a caver (and skydiver), caving came first. I would definitly say that caving is definitly much more dangerous than skydiving is. I'm really sorry that they won't let you start a club. It's not right. FIRST CRW jump!!!!!! Very AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to do more. All i got to say, it rocked, the weather rocked howard you rock, mike you rock (for not showing up saturday, so howard could switch canopies, and jump a canopy that would work better for a 2 stack) and crw is freaking AWESOME! I can't wait to get into it more, hopefully saturday, as long as the weather holds up. once again another naked jump was accomplished in the blue skies of Gardiner, NY... Jump #100, did a cross coutry jump with 5 other people. It was quite awesome! Such a great jump.

0:6:0 It was GREAT!!! Although i do owe MAJOR beer...... Did my 100th jump...a naked cross country jump (wasn't the warmest weather, but wasn't cold either). Did my first 2 stack, plus 2 great freefly jumps, a 2nd cross country jump, and even threw in a "5 way RW jump, GONE BAD!!" (i don't think i laughed so much in free fall as i did in that last jump). What an incredibly great day. Weather wasn't great today, but it was still a great saturday! i wore mine today (don't want to say what it is, since i'm wearing it to my dz party tomorrow night), but it was kinda an odd thing to do, since I work in a refinery, and my costume wasn't exactly appropriate for a refinery setting.
