The definition I use is targeting, killing, and/or injuring civilians (bombing public places, suicide bombers, crashing planes into buildings). In battle there is collateral damage and mistakes made, but intentionally targeting civilians to show your "power" is not only wrong, but in actuality self defeating. I'll agree Christian were and some still are violent, but for the most part that they grew out of it. These days, any fringe group that commits an atrocity (abortion doctor killing or office bombing as an example) in the name of God or Jesus, is publicly shunned and chastised by their own religious groups. Why do we not hear of Islamic leaders and groups doing the same with these terrorist fringe groups? Or maybe that says something about Islam's own intolerances itself. Does anyone know the percentage of terrorist attacks/year that are done in the name of Islam vs. other religions? I think all religions are bad, but Islam, particularly the violence prone uneducated strains of it, are far worse. Or simply stop all religious concessions in government. Let people be whatever they want to be and practice what they want to practice, but no longer make concessions for it. Thanksgiving is not really a religious holiday, and there is proof that it actually happened. As for Christmas, just change it to Winter Holiday and give people the option of floating when they take it.

The SouthPark example was not Trey and Matt's decision, but the networks. They have been very vocal in their displeasure with it. It also shows that there isn't a level playing field, nor there should be until the more radical segments are brought in line or publicly shunned and denounced as misinterpreting the teachings of their "peaceful" religion. How does one define the same as the fundamentals are so different in Islam and in most cases, far more involved? What about the next religion that comes along and says that one of it's holy practices is to not speak or read for a week, so all lessons during that time must be oral. Do we make concessions for them too? What does one do if different groups practices start conflicting? Best to get out of all of it now. Call it Winter Break, Spring Break, etc. If a religious group has an issue with it, they can either deal with it or start their own schools.
