    It creates interesting thought processes as to where to send your photos for sure.. But think of this example, compare them to newspapers / news channels, they want the exclusive rights to your footage, at least for a little while. I understand their policy and I try to work with them, so I won't send them the same photos of an event, I'll send them both photos of the event, but I make a selection as to which one I send where. Look at the world team 400 way photos that got published in both magazines.. they were of the same event, but different angles, cause they each want the exclusive first. Iwan

    If you wear an iPod in freefall and under canopy, I don't want you near me or in the air with me. In freefall is one thing, cause you can't hear anything anyways because of the windnoise.. under canopy.. it would be nice if you could hear me if for whatever freak reason we get really close to each other and it is necessary to yell at each other..

    I agree mostly with the poster above, but here is what has to be changed: The attitude of the swooper, not every landing needs to be a swoop / high performance landing. from the time I open my parachute to the time I land, my head is on a swivel, looking for parachutes that might "get in my way" if I wanted to perform a HP landing. I have landed my Velocity straight in quite a number of times because "straigther inners" would "get in my way". My dropzone does not have a seperate high performance area, but it has a huge landing area.. so I've landed farther away at some times. did they though? NO.. they were "the lower man" and the lower man has the right of way, it's that simple. We (swoopers) just need to get over the fact that sometimes it is just not safe to perform a HP landing and be willing to abort our initial plan and do a straight in landing. Please share your thoughts...

    Personally.. I see people going way too wide with their wide angles, I'd say give the .6 a shot, my favorite wide angle is the Kenko .5.

    I see your point, but here's another thing.. why spend almost a grand on a camera that will produce the same level of footage as a 200 / 300 dollar used on off of eBay? If people ask me what camera to buy, I would still recommend them a TRV17 / TRV27, I've seen both these in action (I have 1000 jumps on my TRV17) and they just last forever, and you can pick them up cheap on eBay.
