The animal collection is indeed the best source out there.. but a lot of times I find they are slightly harder to read. The Wrox book on PHP is the only Wrox book I have because it is a very good book, pretty much all my other books are O'Reilly books Iwan

First of all the respective websites of these tools: www.php.net www.mysql.org www.apache.org What helped me get started on these are the Wrox books on this subject. Take a look at Professional PHP programming It assumes you already know how to write code, but I think that should work out for you. Other than that, read the articles on Devshed.com there is one really good one on the setup of all these tools, compiled into the Apache webserver on a linux / freebsd box. Very nice design, one thing I would change is the pictures. The link under the pictures doesn't work (HTTP 404 error) I guess you don't want the pictures to show in full (or higher) resolution. In that case, don't put links on there Just my 2 ct. Overall, a very nice and clean website! Iwan

That might not be true, as far as I know the only thing that causes a DVD not to play, is the region code. Deuce's DVD is region free so it does not have that problem. Even if the footage is in NTSC it should play fine on most newer TV's Iwan

Hmm.. think of this: Last night BigBen and myself, Deuce and the lovely other half of mr. Deuce and his two kids sitting on the couch at Deucemeister's place, eating pizza.. no talking going on at all.. all staring at the TV for 58 minutes and seconds.. The titles come up and we were all like.. really ? it's over? We want more.. Play it again! And so we did... I got home last night around 1 AM from Deuce's house, and the first thing I did was pop open another beer, sit back on the couch at home and watched that video again. You gotta see it to believe it! Buy the DVD and you will find out... Remember what Deuce said, there will be no boobies and other forms of nakedness in the DVD and there isn't.. So you don't have to worry about that part.. Let's just say you did a little performance.. Iwan

Thomas, It's too bad you're bashing the letter like this, since there is a lot of good stuff in there. I think a lot of us on here know people that got hurt flying canopies that were not fit for them. Granted this is partially the individual's fault, on the other hand if there was a regulation around canopy loading it would be easier to ground these people, or because they were not allowed to jump those canopies the accident might not have happened. Of course someone doing something stupid under canopy could get hurt just as well on a very lightly loaded canopy as under a highly loaded canopy.. the injury would just be more serious.. I think with Bill's comment that people that are already flying these HP canopies should be excluded from this what do you have to worry? I didn't look up your profile but from your response I assume you are flying a HP canopy. Reacting with comments like bullshit is not the way to respond to something as serious as this. Thanks, Iwan

I can't comment on the money.. but the reason I didn't go with USB is .. performance. USB still uses up the CPU, firewire doesn't 1.5 Gig of RAM???? I am getting along just fine using 256 in my laptop... I should upgrade, but my next upgrade is a real one.. Mac. Iwan

Lew, Start working out your neck Lay flat on the floor, and push your upper body up with your head. For extra workout, roll your head while you're pushed up. That's what my dad gave me as a workout after he saw my setup He said they do something similar as a workout for rugby players, but I wouldn't know. Iwan

Im with 1st Battalion 9th Infantry at camp Hovey Right next to camp Casey. I got here in Sep. So Ill be here until Sep 2004. Mabye I can visit youre son if he is close!! Last I heard he was at Casey. My cousin is too. But he's almost done there, he's due to be back state side in March. Iwan
