Happy birthday towerrat!! Iwan

Indeed.. I didn't modify these pictures, they came straight off the camera. The distortion gets cropped off by the camera due to the 1.6 crop factor with the digital sensor Thanks, Iwan

Hee Lisa, we have the same Bday then I registered "today" too, I was in Europe at the time. Iwan (edited to make the opening line a little nicer)

15mm Fisheye + the Digital Rebel? Click on the link in my signature All of them are taken with that lens. (At least the skydiving ones from Eloy) Iwan

PM Peter Galli (blazetailman), he does a lot of freeflying and he uses the 15mm as well. I don't think he is using anything that's wider than that. 24mm is pretty wide by the way, you have to fly pretty close. Of course if you fly inside, you want even wider, maybe take a look at the 8mm? The problem with that one is that it is a circular fisheye, which might not be very good looking I haven't seen any pictures with that one on a digital yet. Iwan

Brian, I have the digital Rebel as well but with the 15mm Sigma. In freefall I don't like the zoom lenses, more stuff to tape down to make sure it doesn't move, primes are the way to go, honestly. It works though, you can use the zoomlenses, I know there are tons of people out there that are jumping them. Some people jump the 18-55 that comes with the Digital Rebel. It's up to you, but I would recommend against a zoomlens for freefall photography. For that $650 (I am sure it is not going to come down, it didn't for the 15mm sigma either) you might as well get the 15mm + another prime lens. thanks, Iwan

I'm innocent. Do i really seem like the type of girl to put a bra on a guy?! I think he asked you to, and since you didn't want to disappoint him, you did it.. You are innocent here Sunny Iwan

It was some crossdressing H-town jumper, don't remember who it was really.. I think the vidiot was drunk too at that time.. Iwan

Ah, do you now? Hmmm.. lemme guess.. Iwan

Clint.. I just found this post, as a follow up to our pm's, I would go with the Digital Rebel if you want to go to the 10D next year or so. Or save up and skip the Digital Rebel and go for the 10D next year. Iwan

Ha ha.. um no, that red would be worrying.. Iwan

What does that mean? How were we supposed to know what the thread was about from that? It's a marketing technique by our lovely Betsy.. a hot woman, posting just the screenname of a male on the forums.. makes people look at the thread.. ha ha.. Thanks everyone for your nice words.. now stop it, because I am turning all red here Iwan

The premiere of the pic will be on their website It's Betsy and my little secret which one it is Iwan

I think the explanation that is given a couple of posts above is a very good one. I use the 15mm Fisheye on the Digital Rebel in combination with my TRV17 with a Kenko .5 conversion lens and they are really compatible. I also use it in combination with my Rebel 2000 with 28mm lens, in that case my SLR is a little tighter then my video. I fix this by bumping up the zoom on my video a little bit. Thanks, Iwan
-
A fisheye is an extreme wide angle lens. Usually around 15mm. Thanks, Iwan

Do you guys have the premium delivery service on your parachutist or something? I probably won't get it for another week and a half or so. Iwan
-
Hmm in that case, no thanks.. My arm is just back to were I can skydive whenever I want Iwan
-
It's on his website: http://www.funairproductions.com About the ease of use, I don't know. You have to get used to the tongue switch but that only takes a little bit. Take some pics with the switch on the ground before you take it up (that's a good idea with all the stuff related to camera flying by the way) and you're good to go. Iwan
-
Hookitt, So who are the pondscum members so far? Iwan
-
Email McGowan Jake, he is using that system too.. Why don't you want to go with the tongue or bite switch? One of the reasons I like the tongue switch is I don't have to run wires through my suit that are connected to the helmet. Iwan

But what if you want seconds?
