  1. Probably, my camera is heavier, and the lens I am using is heavier as well. And then on top of that, the helmet itself is heavier than the newer flattops. That's why I am saving Jake! To get myself a Flat Top Pro.. Iwan
  2. Yep.. that was scary for a little bit, but it was really cool to watch. "Metallica, I would crash my wheelchair to meet you" Golden!
  3. That's good news! Think "Job security" hmmm.. normally yes, but in this case.. think overtime But then all the time I put in extra today, could be shaved off on a Friday some time.. It'll work out someway good anyways..
  4. I could've beat people with my crutches... Or we could have gotten you a wheelchair, there was someone else there having a blast in her wheelchair! She must have a headache today though.. Iwan
  5. I just lost four hours of programming work.. sometimes you just have to hate computers. (Or I am just a dumbass for not saving it often enough) But... It is still going pretty good.. Here's some more positive energy for peeps with a day that is not going so well...
  6. YESS.. that'll stop people from looking at my helmet then.. he he..
  7. You are just pissed because you're stuck in New York and won't be able to jump with us this weekend!!
  8. I have to agree with you here.. their latest albums were not as good as the earlier ones.. but what the hell, I'll just get stuck in the past and only play stuff up to (and including) the black album.
  9. You can DO IT!!! Just admit, Metallica is a kick ass band, even though you don't appreciate their later stuff, they can still do the old stuff really well!! For me one of the first albums I heard was the Black Album, I know that is the one you are referring to as "downhill from there" but because of that album I got to appreciate them and bought all the other albums as well. WHATEVER.. you're just jealous we had a good time at a kick ass concert last night
  10. They played most of their "old" stuff though.. it was an awesome show. I don't care if he's a money grubbing guy.. damn those guys make good music, they can have it.
  11. Huh? What did you say? I guess the fireworks for "One" made me deaf. Ah well, earplugs are for pussies anyways. At least I don't have to worry about the noise on the Skyvan anymore.
  12. That one worked fine! Nice shots Jake! Do you have a picture of how you put it on your helmet? Iwan
  13. I disconnect the wing completely (so the sandwich + the clip), it gives me more range under canopy. I only started doing this recently and I like it a lot better that way. Iwan
  14. Well.. at least you still have your potty mouth Hang in there sunnyone..
  15. Gimp, How did it fly? Did it work? Upload some pics, so we can see it! Iwan
  16. they had an emergency truck, and an ambulance that stayed on a dry enough area on the landing area. So instead of driving the SunnyOne from the field, we had to walk her off the field.. Probably better anyways, it would have hurt a lot driving off of there, since the terrain in that area is bad.
  17. Same here.. I will vouch too, I put "THE hat" back in her bag yesterday, since it was on top of everything in the car.. all exposed! What if they broke into the car and steal it?
  18. 0:17:0 A fantastic weekend, untill Sunshine got hurt... 2 night jumps on friday, 9 jumps (mostly camera) on Saturday, including Girlfalldown's 500th! On Sunday another 6 jumps, including my 500th, which was a bad ass 8 way hybrid with people flying around it!
  19. Um no... I did get video of her flying on her belly though.. and pictures.. they will be online Tuesday. Iwan
  20. Well, first hand information here.. She will be remembered in Byron allright. What happened exactly, I'll leave it up to her, but in short on landing her foot got stuck in the mud and she fell and broke her ankle. The fun part of it is, the medics drove a 4x4 out in the landing area to where she was and got stuck as well. (the part where Sunshine landed was really muddy) So, they call a tow truck, which drives out into the field and??? gets stuck as well. When I left the DZ (about an hour or so after it happened) to go pick her up in the hospital, the two cars were still stuck in the mud, and it didn't look like they were going to come out any time soon. She'll be posting about it some more tomorrow I am sure!
  21. Mike come out and play.. screw that plane, there are many planes you can catch later!
  22. Started on a 1994 CBR 600F. I rode it for four years and then I moved to the US and had to sell it.. I still regret that move.. (the sell, not the move to the US) It's a bike that can take you a long way, from beginner riding (it's a very easy bike to start off with) all the way to some pretty serious sport riding. I loved it, and if I buy another bike (probably this summer) it will be a 600 again, but this time the 600RR Iwan
  23. Um.. that sounds like a great idea...
  24. I was drunk, and confused.. sorry for messing it all up now.. and thanks for setting my memory straight! Now come out and play in Byron, just like the other H-town people
