Too bad Loic's not a DZ.com geek like the rest of us, or we could ask him... Guess he's too busy being a badass to be bothered with computers. Can't say I blame him, if I could travel the way he does... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I agree with Scott that if you want to get a used suit, the GTi is a good choice. However, if you do plan on buying a new suit, like another poster said, the Firebird is an excellent new (new meaning just released) suit. I got a chance to fly one at WFFC and it can keep up with the big boys, but is also suitable for a newbie. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

The111 replied to Kolla's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Someone just PMed me the location. After going to PD Zone, click on factory team, then media. The media in the PD Zone is separate from the other media section on the site... www.WingsuitPhotos.com -
Jonathan Tagle - distance record video
The111 replied to Kolla's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Ok, I just found this thread and admittedly, I got here a little late, but I can't seem to find the video anywhere on the PD site now. Anybody know where it is? www.WingsuitPhotos.com -
Hehe Scott, just yesterday I saw a guy at DeLand with one of those shirts (the "protect" one) on... www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Wingsuit videos by my friend Omar: Z-Flock-N-Dock Big Fat Clouds Free-Flockin' (Aerobatix) Dropzone.com 4th of July boogie Other Wingsuit: Loic's famous mountain swoop, if you haven't seen it yet BASE: (not skydiving but some damn cool footage) Jeb Corliss Year in the Life 2003 More impressive stuff from Jeb VERY impressive flights down a mountain using wingsuits and tracking pants crazy track without wingsuit or tracking pants... barely clears an object. There was an even crazier video of what looks like this same location, here, but it does not seem to be working right now. These are just a few of my favs... I'm getting tired of typing now. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I think I ruined my right shoe. And I'm definitely missing a lot of leg hair. Very fun though. We turned it into hackey sack at the end and managed 3 consecutive hacks... And I was not aware the game already had a name, but I would prefer to call it FIREBALL. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I personally think that even if there is a aerodynamic benefit to gloves (which I'm iffy about), it's not as good as the benefit of holding your grippers. So I'd rather hold my grippers.

If the cables were too long, how is that a problem with the 3-ring itself? No 3-ring will release if the cable is still in it! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

10 years since I jumped. What would you do?

Except when it's time to show your instructor "forward movement"... then you should put on the track! www.WingsuitPhotos.com -
Skyflying, Wingsuits in Motion by Scott Campos
The111 replied to leroydb's topic in Wing Suit Flying
You should write a sequel called WFFC: Golfcarts in Motion - a must for any WFFC attendant. www.WingsuitPhotos.com -
10 years since I jumped. What would you do?
The111 replied to Bip's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I took 4 years off with only 23 jumps, and all I needed was 30 minutes with an instructor and a supervised freefall. Go for it! www.WingsuitPhotos.com -
I agree with Scott, Jill... I wish I had some pictures to show everyone how tight you were flying your slot on Mike in the slot-specific dives. I have seriously seen people with over 100 WS jumps that cannot fly that tight. Congrats, and welcome to the flock and DZ.com.

Last I heard from him (same conversation as Scott Bland heard) Feb is no good either. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

There is credit given to you at the bottom of the 3rd page.

I tried to warn people when he got up there, but no one listened. At least I knew when to close my eyes. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Thanks to Macca for the headsup. I was disappointed to not see any coverage of it in US mags (I'll admit I don't get Skydiving, so maybe it was in there?). I just wanted to give all the other Z-flockers a heads-up. You can view the PDF here. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

It was an XL stock size. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

High speed exits are fine in my experience if you don't go too fast (200 knots is excessive). I like Scott's advice of 130 knots max (about 150 mph). www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Oh yeh, I forgot to add this in my last post, an official welcome to all the new birds I had the privilege of sharing a first jump with: Jill, Mark, Brian, Marty, Tom, Gary, Steve, Scott, and any others I forgot. You guys (and girl) all did great and I hope to see you in the flock again soon! Caw caw! www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Sounds like a great idea. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Shit. Myself and all the other flockers at Zhills jumped wingsuits with this guy and his friend Greg both in December and March. Really cool guy. There are now two people missing from this photo. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Yeh, I just got that picture in an email from a non-jumper. No idea if the bridge is old, new, or what. Just thought it looked cool. :) www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Sorry if this is a repost. It's a span, somewhere. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

I agree with Kirk, I am in love with my S3 and think it's great all around. It's only tiring if you are maxing it out. If you are flying in a nice paced flock it's easy to fly, neither tiring nor twitchy. Of course, I've never understood the whole "if you're only going to fly the suit every once in a while" thing... I can't seem to stop flying mine.
