Hi Bytch Most jumpers in So Cal are very happy to have more than one dz to jump at, visit and jump at dz's other than their home dz on a regular basis and don't have the "my dz is the best" attitude. Variety is the spice of life, New faces, different attitudes, competition is good.

A liquor store owner in K.C. Mo was tire of being robbed so he armed himself. Two guy's entered his store one waited at the door the other approached the counter with his hand in his pocket and said give me money or I kill you. Store owner (old fart) Shot the guy at the counter (hand still in pocket) shot him again as he was leaving the store (the look out already split). The robber collapsed in the parking lot cussed at the store owner who then finished him off. All the robber had in his pockeet was his hand. (cheapskate). DA prosecuted the store owner for shooting the robber outside the store. Owner found not guility because fatal shot was fired inside the store Kind of hard to stop the adrenaline at the door when some one threatens to kill you in your store. The robber never came back

Great link! I didn't read the whole story IMO it reads like Consumer reports or readers digest. Since I was a REMF I don't feel qualified to analyse Mr Kerry's tacticle situation. However young officers full of piss and vinegar with little experience have a reputation for allowing their gung ho attitude to get them & their men (the ones that follow) in trouble. Officers and Medals? no comment. Bottom line both GWB & Kerry are politicans. IMO their war records don't enter into the equation. Lesson learned Every organization has "no people" If your dealing with a small organization one "no person" can stop you in your tracks. Large organizations do have some "yes people" that can use discretion when dealing with customers. The water company put in a high tech system to detect "excessive useage" that was sucessful "poor training" of their employees (no people) allowed the system to fail. 25,000 Gals of water in 5 days and the "no people" ask you about your kids flushing toilets, or leaking toilet. By the time the "no people" sent you the dye tablets to put in you toilet tanks you would have lost another 10,000 gals. Once you get caught up and recover from your losses print out your origional message (edited) and send it to the water co. The co & their customers have a weak point (poor training & procedures) in their hi tech leakage system. The plumber who incorrectly installed your main line from the meter to your house may have installed every line in your subdivison. So there will be more leaks in the "hood". R.I.P.

Have you ever met Teri? I haven't but some of the companies that do high risk loans charge a Vic of 20% per week and use Quido as a collection agency. Your folks will end up paying big $$$ to save your life. The "legit" loan companies that make high risk loans, (no job debt etc) charge as high a rate as the law allows,WAG 21% plus they have, application fee's processing fee's etc. IMO their dragging there feet so you'll sign anything. We have a serious illegal drug problem in our area, some type of a over the counter cold med is used to manufactor the drug in home labs. In a attempt to limit the amount of problems associated wwith he drug, Someone has restricted the amount of the cold meds that can be bought at one time. The retailers have been briefed by the police. If a customer buy's to much too often they can call the police. Read in the local weekly paper the police were waiting for a customer with a very bad coldas he was leaving the store. He was arrested for possesion of illegal drugs (meth) Armed felon, Warrents.

Hi Jimmy I agree with your concerns about the local police. could be a waste of time. But it could be another page in the kids bad boy file. Do you know how many jumps on the raider. IMO the age isn't a problem it's the number of jumps and tender loving care it's recieved. There's a lot of gear around that wasn't used very much. Might want to be prepared to do a PLF on the first jump just in case it's "well used". Enjoy! R.I.P.
