Menachem Begin and Golda Meir led terrorist groups too, and were proud of it. (They both became Prime Ministers of Israel). So did Ethan Allen, and they named furniture galleries after him. So did Jomo Kenyatta, and he became President of Kenya. So did Nelson Mandela, and he became President of South Africa. What you really mean is that Arafat led a terrorist group that YOU don't approve of. Prof IMO your 100% correct but your in SC so when you get tired you know what to do. No One is going to change their mind I mean their educated opinion. You know what I'm trying to say. R.I.P.

Trial By Jury - The Most Idiotic thing in the Constitution
slug replied to Duckwater's topic in Speakers Corner
Hi Paj Bill von and the security guards was funny he even provided his source. Your in SC, plus on the internet you can be whoever you want to be. You don't know me I don't know you we don't know duckwater. If he's joking or serious whats the difference either way it's funny -
Anything is better than SC. Thats a compliment Really how about doing some posting in SC might be fun. Try it you might like it with the right attitude it is a funny place, not much sex, not much fun right now but still very funny place. what kind of a gun would you try and hide in your swim suit Do you prefer big guns that onlt take one shot to kill or small guns that shoot fast Do you need a CWP if there's no place to conceal the gun on your person.? Would you go for pink pistol grips? or a guy that had a gun with a pink holster R.I.P.

Hi ZEP ZP no problem you want ground rush you can get it. Skydiver's aren't dumb they have invented a whole new type of "ground rush" Open canopy at safe altitude (before old fart ground rush) fly around under a perfectly good canopy botch a high performance landing or do a panic turn to low to the ground and I think you got the new wave type of ground rush. Cypress won't do squat. Anyone experience the new wave type of ground rush? What you think? R.I.P. I think that might qualify as ground rush

I’m not backing this for authenticity, however, here’s some statistics. Religions of the World Religious adherents as a percentage of world population in 2000. Christianity: 2,015 million, 33%, dropping Islam: 1,215 million, 20%, growing Sorry Paj Got to agree with you again. The link for the stats is what it is. But assuming the numbers are correct there is a different way to interpete the numbers depending what point a person wants to make. Worldwide:Christianity: 2,015 million, 33%, dropping Non christians 67% and rising. Why argue about numbers, religions, etc, There are nut cases, pissed off people after 3-4 gerations of hate for whatever reason, etc. How about giving peace a chance stop the killing and dying, devote once things settle down devote our resources to something more productive. Health care Housing Hunger etc. But this is speakers circle so around and around we go and end up exactly where we started. In speakers corner your facing a wall ever try and walk thru a wall or talk to a wall? Carry on R.I.P.

There's a Westwind sitting at Conway, AR. It was a jumpship uintil a year or two back when the DZO got religion and turned the hangar into a church. Guess it didn't do him much good, last I heard he got himself severly bent a few months back after his cropduster crashed. IMO Better the crop duster than the TB on T.O. with a load of jumpers. Maybe there is a higher power. The T.B. I saw at lost praire befor Mr Hill graciously supplied most of the airplanes, was a sweet bird, painted brown, the pilots name was elevator. First time I met him he was a excelent pilot with a well maintained "classic" airplane. Ted Mayfields plane was at L.P. it had been a T.B. and converted to a trailwind? a twin bo with a single verticle stabilizer same engines leaked oil like a pig. R.i.P. R.I.P. R.I.P.

What can we do about Skyride?
slug replied to ChasingBlueSky's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
>>Nothing against GA residents but man, some of them are slow as anything. The detective who is looking into the situation for me down there takes like 4 days to return my calls and most of the time I just get his voicemail: "Hey, this is < >. Just leave me a message an' I'll git back wit' you." (mispellings were deliberate. LOL!) I know it's not the nicest thing to say but I have just lost all patience with this entire situation. And that's one thing I cannot do if I want to ultimately achieve the desired results....>> Patience is what you'll need. The detective in Ga is not slow he's subtle. In a month or two you'll understand he's giving you the "I'll look into it and get back with you". You will grow very old waiting on that guy. He's very busy. Be persistant and patient, it took how may years to trip up the telemarker? IMO listen to "make it happen". R.i.P. -
Favorite place to exit from the plane

Hey Paj, Atleast you have the humility to admit when you've made a mistake. I admire that. There's many people around here who can't. Remember, humility is a virtue.

from what i heard When your at a good altitude your visual references on the ground, roads, RR tracks, cars, people, bldgs are very small. The closer you get to the ground the faster those visual references will get bigger, roads get wider, RR tracks you can see indivdual rails, house look bigger etc. you can start seeing individual hay bales and there getting bigger and bigger very fast and look very big. A easy way to experience Ground rush is from the ground and watch people in FF. When they exit their little black dot's and don't look like their falling very fast. The closer they get to the ground the easier their to identify as humans. Then you can see arms and legs, some times you'll see fingers and feet. As they get closer to the ground they look like their falling faster and getting big very fast. Thats the safe way to experience ground rush. Don't recomend doing it from the top down. R.I.P.

some one should have been court marshalled for that.... Well after the war was over the families of the people that got killed in the barracks found out the real deal. Don't know how that was resolved They were either N/G or reserves. In my situation by the time I made it back to my office in the states the cover up had already started. The DOA wanted me to file a offical accident report, we told them F.Y. My boss filled it out showed it to me signed it and let me review it. I knew what was going to happen so i made a copy. The paperwork went up the chain of command. A couple yr's later I requested a copy of the report under the FOIA. Request denied because soliders lives may be at stake. I finally got a copy of the report it was mostly redacted but I compared it to my origional, Some of the facts had been changed and initalted befor the full bird signed it. The report was buried, in my situation what I saw and experienced never happened

In Peru it certainly does... They might not have alternators (or whatever you call it in english... that device wich charges the battery) I asked about the alternator. their theory is the flow of electricity from the battery to the lights and the alternator to the battery or the alternaor will add un need wear and tear on the battery and they probably think the light bulbs and alternator. Peru: Be careful walking at night the cars can't see you. If traveling after dark required, take a taxi, wear seat belt, close eye's and hope for the best. BTW windshield wipers are hard to find. Most people lock them in the trunk of the car until they need to use them. This stuff was a long time ago anyone from peru here? R.I.P.

The police want video, audio, no problem time date stamp every day etc but the wheels of justice turn slow. The lady has a problem that has become your problem. Do the video's every day Keep sending dupes to the cops. The lady is out of control, don't have a clue how long it will take befor the cops keep her for more than 24 hr's. she'll go right back to her los stuff nless she gets some good meds and takes them. Damn that women has a husband living in the same house? If he disapears or just leaves maybe the cops will arrest her for assualt with her mouth a deadly weapon. wonder if she locks him in the house so he can't escape. If the cops get the video and have the time to check that women has to have a serious diagnosed mental problem and isn't takeing her meds or there not working. Crazy lady dumb husbandneighbor Good luck R,I,P.

If I may ask, how much does it cost (in American dollars) for a jump ticket there? How many loads/what kind of aircraft, per day? Given what I know of the exorbitant costs of general aviation in every nation of the world but the U.S. (and it ain't exactly "cheap" here, either), I am conditioned to fear that it would be very costly to get a ride to altitude. PJ The planet needs uou. A trip around the world would be a plus for world unity. I'm confused I thought you wouldn't go anywhere that you couldn't take you stuff with you to protect yourself. Pick the right place, they got exactly the stuff you always dream about and you'll get to use them on moving targets. R.I.P.

Quoteyes I drive a car, several cars, motorbikes, but I don't let the engine run if if doesn't need to... Only on the Porsche to let the engine cool down a minute or two before shutting it down... In my country people even shut the engine at red lights. It is generally more economical/ecological to shut down the engine if you stop for more than 20 seconds...
