    Well then, I must be special, cause I've done about a dozen jet jumps Right, what implications? I have quite a few jet jumps (C-141, C-17, C-5) and don't seem any worse for wear. Most of those jumps were with a MT-XX/MC-4 and combat equipment hung from my 150 pound body too. Jets are no big deal, door or ramp. Chuck Chuck your special to Thats why you got paid to make those jumps (maybe even at night) and wear the green hat

    Hi K We taught each other how to do RW out of 180/182's from 7.5k at $3.50. Back in the day everone wanted to swoop, no launching pieces. The person spotting would sit on his butt, call cut! and leave everyone else had to run on the knee's to get out the door ASAP. Person spotting laid base, last three out got to chase and swoop. Eventually it got easier and easier to do a surprise exit and have plenty of time for a 4 way. IMO more educational than launcing the first piece and turning pt's. Small DZ's with small planes have their own culture. Not better or worse than the Big DZ's just different.I won't say which one I liked better. R.I.P.

    Good point When we were pay $3.50 for a 30 sec in 1970 we were going to school on the G.I. Bill $175/ month A hours wages in a good job for a jump these days sounds about right. But thats a salary of $45K/yr plus, AFF, gear, tunnel time, coach's, packers, flying to boogies, hotels, rental cars, down sizeing every year, medical expenses, lost wages..... Sounds like the climb to altitude is just the cover charge if you have to go first class. R.i.P.

    We never had a problem standing up in a otter, casa, twin beech, etc so I guess we qualify to be a am little person (more tall women) I wonder how short a person would have to be to stand up in a cessna 180? Bending you neck sideways for added headroom is cheating. R.I.P.

    Hi april I'm a vertically challenged guy 4'9" and admit that I do enjoy the company of some tall women. Don't sell all us wee folks short that not a chip on my shoulder it's a coaster to rest your drink on. For Amazon we wear a coaster on our head her beers get cold when she rests them on our head and there's no hair for insulation. R.I.P.
