  1. That's inevitable these days j/k Angela.
  2. I didn't know that some people up north were required to cross the border for scripts. Really is a shame. Shotgun,.. sorry, i'm not in that business anymore. I might be able to refer you to someone who can help, tho. j/k Angela.
  3. I found this pretty amusing. I get e-mails from ticketmaster and there is an upcoming Primus concert. I clicked on the amphitheatre's page and at the bottom it said: LOL! Are children really expected to sit through a 4+hr concert in a chair? I don't think so. This gets me thinking, also... This is not event specific.... and for this concert I think the reasons for not bringing young children would likely be possibility of hearing problems later in life. But, for other concerts, like classical music... does anyone really want a 1yr old admitted at all? I don't ! I would hate to pay 100$ for a ticket to nutcracker to hear a screaming 1 year old for 2 hrs. whatever Angela.
  4. Wow, Michele. That sux you don't have ins:( I hope you save a few $$, but I suspect you'll still be eaten alive. Good luck! Angela.
  5. I can't relate hehe. I just ordered my ff suit and it will be pretty form-fit cuz I am so floaty. So, I suppose we all have our limitations. As you said, learn to fly better... that's definitely my goal
  6. Being relatively new to the sport, my views may conflict with others... I consider myself a freeflyer. I cannot fly headdown yet. I haven't worked on it because I want to be really good in a sitfly first. I can sit, I can stand, that's pretty much it. I don't want to just be able to sit, stand, and fly on my head. I want to be able to move myself anywhere I want in the sky, in any position. I don't think someone is allmighty because he/she can fly on their head. Many people can fly on their head, can stand, can sit... but cannot do much of anything from those positions. Do you consider them more freeflyers than people who have spent lots of time on one vertical aspect, and are able to move freely in that position? I myself am not great. I cannot get where I want to be. I can do simple things like control fallrate, turn.. but freeflying is what I spend my time in the sky working on and I do consider myself a freeflyer... .maybe not a good one, but a freeflyer nonetheless:) angela.
  7. lol!! Thanks guys. I really think he is a hero:) I am so glad he has had the opportunity to help people. I adopted both of my poms out last year, to different people. I didn't want to, but, I felt due to my lack of time at home, it was the right thing to do. My other pom, Sasha, is now living with a couple in Davie and she is having fun playing with Ferrets all day (she isn't much bigger than them anyhow, lol!) instead of waiting for me to come home after school & work to pet her for 30 minutes then sleep and do it all over again. I still miss them so much, tho. Dogs are so special! Angela.
  8. So why not just buy it at the place where its only #30.00? What, you want the Gov't to come in and set price controls so you don't hace to shop around? LOL! You people are fucking amazing. I'm just passing the info along so that anyone who doesn't know about this can go buy their drugs for (possibly) cheaper at Costco. But, I suppose setting price controls would be a good idea Angela.
  9. I was just passing this info along. I don't want to start a debate here, but if you read the whole thing, it is pretty damn ridiculous that at one place you may buy a script for 80$ and at another place for 30$. jmo. It sounds to me as if most of the price increase is for the benefit of the retailer, not the benefit of research. Angela.
  10. I adopted out one of my pomeranians early last year. He was adopted to a family in North Florida. He was to live with the parents of a woman I met online who also had a pomeranian. In the coming months, the womans father would die of a stroke. She said that Frankie (my pom) helped her mother so much during that time. Soon after that the womans husband would have a bad accident. He almost died, has some brain damage and they barely saved his legs. Soon after that the womans mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and has left her home to be treated in another state. My dog is now with the daughter and her husband and she said that my dog has helped her husband so much in recovery. And that they find so much joy in watching the dogs play and interact, their dog never played with other dogs before Frankie. She said my dog is an angel and was sent to her by God. While i'm not a religious person, I find so much happiness in hearing that he is with them in their times of trouble. He always helped me through my times of trouble and is such a special dog. I'm crying again:( I think my dog is a hero! Angela.
  11. This was sent to me by a friend. I do not use an prescription drugs, but maybe you do, and maybe it will benefit you:) : " Ok Yall this was sent to me by a dear friend. I was totally shocked. I will be becoming a member of costco very soon : Subject: Drug Co. Profit Did you ever wonder how much it costs a drug company for the active ingredient in prescription medications? Some people think it must cost a lot, since many drugs sell for more than $2.00 per tablet. We did a search of offshore chemical synthesizers that supply the active ingredients found in drugs approved by the FDA. As we have revealed in past issues of Life Extension, a significant percentage of drugs sold in the United States contain active ingredients made in other countries. In our independent investigation of how much profit drug companies really make, we obtained the actual price of active ingredients used in some of the most popular drugs sold in America. The chart below speaks for itself. 1. BRAND NAME OF DRUG 2. CONSUMER PRICE 100 TABS 3. COST OF GENERAL ACTIVE INGREDIENTS 4. PERCENT MARKUP Celebrex 100 mg $130.27 $0.60 21,712% Claritin 10 mg $215.17 $0.71 30,306% Keflex 250 mg $157.39 $1.88 8,372% Lipitor 20 mg $272.37 $5.80 4,696% Norvasc 10 mg $188.29 $0.14 134,493% Paxil 20 mg $220.27 $7.60 2,898% Prevacid 30 mg $44.77 $1.01 34,136% Prilosec 20 mg $360.97 $0.52 69,417% Prozac 20 mg $247.47 $0.11 224,973% Tenormin 50 mg $104.47 $0.13 80,362% Vasotec 10 mg $102.37 $0.20 51,185% Xanax 1mg $136.79 $0.024 569,958% Zestril 20 mg $89.89 $3.20 2,809% Zithromax 600mg $1,482.19 $18.78 7,892% Zocor 40mg $350.27 $8.63 4,059% Zoloft 50mg $206.87 $1.75 11,821% Since the cost of prescription drugs is so outrageous, I thought everyone I knew should know about this. Please read the following and pass it on. It pays to shop around. This helps to solve the mystery as to why they can afford to put a Walgreens on every corner.................. On Monday night, Steve Wilson, an investigative reporter for channel 7 News in Detroit, did a story on generic drug price gouging by pharmacies. He found in his investigation, that some of these generic drugs were marked up as much as 3,000% or more. Yes, that's not a typo..... three thousand percent! So often, we blame the drug companies for the high cost of drugs, and usually rightfully so. But in this case, the fault clearly lies with the pharmacies themselves. For example, if you had to buy a prescription drug, and bought the name brand, you might pay $100 for 100 pills. The pharmacist might tell you that if you get the generic equivalent, they would only cost $80, making you think you are "saving" $20. What the pharmacist is not telling you is that those 100 generic pills may have only cost him $10! At the end of the report, one of the anchors asked Mr.Wilson whether or not there were any pharmacies that did not adhere to this practice, and he said that Costco consistently charged little over their cost for the generic drugs. I went to the Costco site, where you can look up any drug, and get its online price. It says that the in-store prices are consistent with the online prices. I was appalled. Just to give you one example from my own experience, I had to use the drug, Compazine, which helps prevent nausea in chemo patients. I used the generic equivalent, which cost $54.99 for 60pills at CVS. I checked the price at Costco, and I could have bought 100 pills for $19.89. For 145 of my pain pills, I paid $72.57. I could have got 150 at Costco for $28.08.I would like to mention, that although Costco is a "membership" type store, you do NOT have to be a member to buy prescriptions there, as it is a federally regulated substance. You just tell them at the door that you wish to use the pharmacy, and they will let you in. I am asking each of you to please help me by copying this letter, and pasting it into your own email, and send it to everyone you know with an email address. "
  12. Soo baggy. I am not particularly partial to it, but it's what you like that counts Congrads on your new suit. angela.
