Anyone do freestyle?
SkydiveNFlorida replied to SkydiveNFlorida's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I'd like to get into some freestyle... where do you start? I can sit and stand. Do I just go up and flail trying to do a split? Is it much more difficult than sitting/standing? I suppose I should start stretching now, too, huh?! :p When did you start? And, with what? thx! angela. -
That sux:( I am sure you'll get it this weekend, though! It must be killing you!! First jump and all, how exciting:D Angela.

Canopy Control Speaker Needed!
SkydiveNFlorida replied to crawford's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Steve, Scott Miller or Brian Germain would probably both be able to travel to your dz. I would try to give whomever you are considering a call to find out specifics about arrangements and material covered. I have taken a course with Scott and it was quite informative. I sat through a seminar with Brian and was blown away. They are both very good at what they do, i'm sure either would suit your purpose. Angela. -
Glad you landed ok! Question: Could you reach the bridal behind you when you saw that the pilot had not pulled your pin? I had considered what i'd do in this situation, and I think the first thing i'd do is reach back and pull the pin and see if the main inflates before I decide to cut away. I don't know that it would inflate or not, but there's a better chance if the bag is out of the container. Angela.

Your dirt dive/organized load preference
SkydiveNFlorida replied to peek's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
calm down there, dude. Like I said, I am not on organized skydives. People can be freeflyers without being on organized skydives... I doubt bellyflying would be fun with just two people, which was kinda my logic in saying if people aren't keeping up and don't like dirtdiving, maybe they'll become freeflyers or form their own unorganized rw flail group. Lighten up a bit Angela. -
Nope, I don't have a camera:( Angela.

ditto that! I really enjoyed the seminar he did this past weekend in SoBe. Very informative:) Angela. -
Ooo, pretty.. i'm glad that I can just look at pix, tho... I am a wimp when it's cold It is going to get down to 50 degrees tonight in S. Fla, though. It is supposed to warm up a bit for the weekend, tho:D Angela.

Hi, Jeffrey! I am glad you made it to the boogie, it was rockin'! The place is really friendly... the staff... the jumpers... it's got an awesome vibe! Hope you'll come out often. I am usually there every weekend, but won't be this weekend... i'm sure i'll see you around, tho! Congrads on the new canopy, too! Angela. -
Oh... I have clicked on things b4... were they links, then? They open the movie player on my comp as soon as I click. Angela.

Your dirt dive/organized load preference
SkydiveNFlorida replied to peek's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, first off, I am not part of organized skydives, so my opinion isn't what you're looking for, but i'm giving it anyhow... Method "B" is probably what i'd choose. Gives more time for socializing and screwing off But, like I said, I am not part of organized skydives, so I really have no idea what kind of planning it takes to make it work out. Good luck with whatever your goal is. Lighten up a bit -
...move along...nothing to see here

I have to agree... public forum, not in violation of any rules I don't think. Maybe it won't work out for her, but that doesn't mean she can't post on here for support. I don't think Sangiro would mind, but then, I really wouldn't know. angela. -
Oh, the insanity!! No one posting anything in here. I need to see some video... any links.. or attach some here:D Angela.

Good luck, Missy! I hope you get on the team:) Angela Bruneau A-43716 -
Doesn't Relative Workshop in Deland have one? I am not sure, but I though that they did. Angela.

Good luck, I hope you find out! I don't personally remember seeing who you're talking about, but from the description, I assume he'd be easy to spot. I actually can't believe that there were that many people that I didn't see someone with a purple mohawk... sounds easy to spot. take care and see you soon! Angela.

So, you don't think you might be taking this a bit too far, huh? haha. You must really like this name. It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where the Proctologist had a license plate that said "assman"... Kramer got it on accident. LOL! Not to say your jumpsuit wouldn't look good, just make sure that's what you want:) Angela.
