try to go to full track at almost 300 mph. you carry so much speed that it's more then enough to slow you down below regular 120 mph. my slowest was 41 mph in all nylon tony pit special w/o grippers. i can fell that i get almost unstable due to the low speed -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... Actually.....sucked it a bit low on break off from a 5 way free fly. Made a short duration track which slowed me some but I'm sure I was still going faster than "normal belly speed." Pithced at 3K or so. Alti said 1700ft in the saddle. I'm usually open right around 2200-2500. 800 was just a guess and the 3 sec came from the ever so scientific method of counting "One-thousand, Two-thousand, Three-thousand" while playing back my video......LMAO still, you're average during those 3 secs should be 180 mph. that's average and you mentioned that you slowed down a little bit. i doubt your free fly speed is over 200 mph :) stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... i couldn't get demo of safire2 at the time i wanted to buy it, because icarus didn't sell it yet. i talked to Simon and he convinced me to buy and try it. and if i didn't like it i could return it. even with custom colors. i got my canopy it in may before official release. pretty happy with it. as for landings, i had a reserve ride on pd143r last sunday. my safire-149 seems to be so much faster then 7 cell reserve. but i had very nice landing on pd-143r :) stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... Wow that is kinda interesting, do you actually use this or just heard about it? I'm kinda leary -- doesn't this mean they have access to all your bank info? Or even worse, all your bank info is in one place for a hacker? i've been using it for almost two weeks now. it's pretty cool stuff. it lets you see how you net worth changes. it takes into account all your assets and you liabilities. as for security, it's the same as you use for online banking. they use https protocol and they automaticaly insure you for free. they do have all your login info in one place to access all your accounts. they're pretty well known and seem to be trustworhty. my primary bank (dcu.com), which i trust, started offering account aggregation service. i took a look at it and what i saw was "powered by yodlee". it just made me more confident with it. stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ...
