i think it could. i've been doing speed dives and saw some odd profiles. they disappeared after i moved my protrack to my harness. for speed skydiving protrack used to be mounted on the ankle and there were speed pikes registered up to 600 mph due to leg kicking. after that all the records were retired and protrack was moved to harness. stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... looks like you turned you head the way your protrack faced up first and it got into your shadow. sudden change of preassure resulted in slow speed spike. then you turned your head the other way around and preassure changed from low to high around protrack - high speed spike. when mounted inside of helmet, protrack is very sensetive to head movements. stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... at this point of time it's beleived the cleanest reading is from protrack mounted on the latteral webbing of the harness. the piece of webbing that goes from the back of the rig to vertical webbing. so the protrack will be right on your side. i have one on the left and for competition two protrack required. prior to that protracks we mounted on ankles but it was discovered that one can forge the reading simply by kicking legs. that's why all the records before 2002 were retired. more info on [url]speedskydiving.net[\url] stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... where do you have you protrack ? i found that most likely all my results were bogus when i had my protrack in my helmet. the rpofiles lok very different from those i get from protrack mounted on my lateral webbing. do you have jumptrack ? can you show me some of you profiles ? first speed meet is june 26 in england. i'm so going :) stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... why does is stick out so much ? and the same on the previous picture post. i have odyssey and the handle lays flat on the bottom of container. it seems that this way it would be more secure. i plan to go even further to secure it - i wanna attach velcro on the flat piece of the handle and BOC, right on the edge of the pouch. not that i think that it's not secure enough, i'm just afraid that premature deployment in speed skydiving mostly is fatal. stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ... my best so far is 291 mph. 9 mph away from 300. but the way speed is measured on speed competition is average over 1000 vertical meters. my best average is 284 mph so far. the world record is 300 mph. i plan on going to this year world speed skydiving cup :) stan. -- it's not about defying gravity; it's how hard you can abuse it. speed skydiving it is ...
