hey! yep it fucking sucks! i am into week 3 of recovery after shattering my leg and busting my ankle in a high force dislocated break............. I have around 4 months of not being able to walk and 2 surgerys......... the worse thing about it is the bordom and the feelings of being useful for nothing....... just keep your spirits up, do everything the consultants tell you and take time out to recover.............. ups and downs are a part of the healing process - just ride it out.............. recover fast............ keep smiling! my thoughts to you

aint that the truth............ if your jumping without any boots that give ankle protection, then I would think again. Recently my boots although did not stop me busting myself, it stopped my leg coming through the side of my foot and giving me a compound fracture........... not nice seeing your bone pushing outward on the side of your foot.......... but better than seeing the actual bone itself! glad all was cool mate - that could have "turned" nasty............

again, you have the whole picture do you? you think that perhaps his life may have contained other issues that may have led to this? if you have a perfect life and do yourself coz a woman dumps you then yes i will agree that is idiotic........... but my guess is that other issues in his years led to this............... you take a snapshot of a life and make a judgement - thats small minded!!!

i am going mad! if anyone would like to burn recent (or past jumps) and post them to me i would appreciate it (ALOT!) I love to hear and see what people are doing at the moment......... help me out here......... i am on week 3 at the moment and I maybe able to walk unaided in 4 months....... (if all goes well!) i admit........ i am bored! i would love any help to break up each day!!!

bollocks......... hero? i think not....... brave i may agree with - yes to face the altimate in human experience is a brave thing to do - but this makes no one a hero - does this mean the old tramp who takes his own life as life on the streets is now too much after so much pain and suffering becomes a hero - no i dont think so............ i know of 2 friends that took their own lives........... i dont see them as heros (no matter what their life paths are) - i see them choosing their own end and for that i give respect................. no matter what it made me feel like..............

what the fuck............. and you think this is a good way to get people to take you BASE jumping........ jesus man......... why the fuck are you low pulling on skydives? have you any idea of what can happen due to the complexity of your rig - you wanna experience a bag lock screaming through 1000ft at terminal then be my guest - hey but i guess you know all the risks, have assessed the risks and know exactly what you are doing........... I mean you have 100 skydives......
