Well, way back when you were a little bunny... ...I made my way up to Kapowsin during the winter and decided it was a good idea to skydive. I mean, it was kind of a nice day. You could see SOME blue. And I heard Mt. Rainer was real purty from altitude. So. I went. I manifested. And as I sat in the plane, I couldn't figure out why they were ALL LAUGHING AT ME. 'Til one guy said, "Don't you have any gloves?" "Oh. I don't wear gloves.", I said. Young and dumb. Yup. Don't know how I pulled at all. But I did. And I never returned to WA in the winter. EVER. Oh. And I wasn't wearin' a parka either. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

That is just summer. We have rolling green hills in winter and spring. Pleanty of water on the delta for your wake boarding and wind surfing pleasure. Oh. And guess what? We jump in the winter. Maybe you can head south when you get sick of the rain. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

https://www.square1.com/CustContainer/infinity/infinity.html Yes. And while you are at it, use the dealer (Square1). They charge no more than buying direct. In fact most dealers will give a better discount. Then you get twice as much customer service and answers to all your questions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Which panels are you talking about? It makes a big difference. There are other options to "Dyeing". Such as panel replacement or painting. But it is VERY much depending on which panels you are talking about. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Instead of comparing your body to his, compare your body to the rig. See if you can get the MLW (Main Lift Web Measurement), the Yoke Measurement and the Leg Pads. Is it articulated? Then measure yourself based on that particular manufacturers measuring guide. Then PM me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

....and, the life of modern ZP fabric is greater than 100 hours or 1200 jumps. Exactly what is the usable life span in hours.... ...Great! Now I have to go do some research with the fabric manufacturers, 'cause I HATE not knowing. Thanks a lot. Not like I didn't have anything else to do! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! #1 is a Stock Spectre Color Pattern. I like #2. It is unique. What colors are your gear? Can I have a go at it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
I feel sorry for you in a way. I used to look at evey fatality and then rationalize why it would not happen to me. How I make better decisions. How I would have done something differently. But the truth is that we are ALL human. Flesh and Bones. Mere mortals. Not only are we capable of making mistakes. We ALL WILL make mistakes from time to time. Including you. Including me. Let's just hope they are not fatal. But in this sport small mistakes can be. My last malfunction (#8) was fairly straight forward. But I made a pretty stupid mistake: Deploy 3500 feet. Spinner. Diving. Cut away. Fling off ass over tea kettle. And yes, I was arching when I cut away. My instinct said, "Get stable and pull your reserve." So I got stable and pulled my reserve. MISTAKE: Instead of arching, I assumed a stable headdown position. Having been freeflying a lot lately, I instinctively grabbed for air with my legs at the same time I grabbed my silver handle and pulled it. Then I had a freebag on my leg. I can tell you it didn't take long to recognize and rectify. But HOW STUPID COULD I BE! I consider myself a bad-ass, capable of handling just about anything you want to throw at me. But I fucked up a pretty simple proceedure. One that I had done before. I am confident that I will handle any situation correctly in the future. But I am accutely aware that we all make mistakes. That is how we learn. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Give me that same quote in 10 years. Long term effects of repeated heart breaks are interesting, to say the least. It is in endless cycle of self reflection, but in the end, I always end up with the same question and answer: "Where else would I go?" Nobody outside this disfunctional family would really relate to me now. "What else would I do?" I can't spend the rest of my life crawling around on the ground looking up. I simply NEED to fly and look down on it all from time to time. Try to remember that as low as you go, you'll bounce back just as high. See you up there.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Being and AFF Jumpmaster myself, I would recommend starting and finishing the program in one place. Then when you get a couple jumps under your belt, come up for a visit. We have good coaches and JMs and lots of freindly people to play with. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
